I was uploading pics from my camera to my pc and I think I might have deleted them in error. The darn program prompted me to format the disc in the 'f' drive and I think that deleted the pics. Is there a way to recover them?

do not save any file to the computer until you undelete the files. There are many tools to undelete files. Even a formatted drive can be recovered. Search for undelete freeware and try them/ It might be easier to undelete them from the camera SD card if you have not taken any pictures since.

Also check your recycle bin. It takes a deliberate holding of the shift key while deleting to erase without the files first going to the recycle bin. Also do a search of your hard drive for jpg files. You may have uploaded them in the wrong place.
