So far I have watched an hour of this presentation and I must say that neither Nandlall nor Norton is focused on anything to bridge national unity. They are more voicing their grievances about the other party. That said, Norton is a dunce. He is no match for the brilliance of Nandlall. He just told Nandall that he (Nandlall) was a lil boy studying in some school when referring to some activity that Norton was involved in. Well apparently that lil boy has grown up and is now schooling Norton. 

From the start Norton was ill prepared as his internet connection was crappy. 

An Indian woman asked Norton that when he called violent protests and an Indian woman like her was whacked across her head, Norton said that they told their supporters to not target any ethnic group. Notably, he did not deny that his party advocated for violent protests.

Bai, politicians don't possess the kind of DNA that will ever allow them to admit to anything they did wrong. They only focus on what they want to focus on. The burden is now left to regular people like you and I to determine who is who. I don't see any politician as saintly and the PPP are not excluded from that sentiment. However, when I tabulate all the pluses and minuses I still conclude that the PPP has conducted itself better when it comes to political and government etiquette. And since politics are binary, I give the PPP a slight preference to the PNC.

I have never see the country so polarized as I see it now since the violence in the 1960’s. It seems that there is no road to national consensus and national unity. Third parties, in my opinion will be squeezed out and the main struggle will be between the two major political parties.

You are correct and on the ground. I have noticed the same ,gathered from various social media , from a distance.

The main issue that we are dealing here is PNC’s fear of losing. They know that they cannot win so they are clinging on to power and hoping that Granger’s plan to install a dictatorship work. 

It will not work. 

The PPP has to reassure PNC supporters that the business of tit for tat governing has ended. 

The US is currently struggling with national unity problems. Guyana needs national unity but it needs the PNC to for once respect the law. Their current behavior is a more urgent threat to the lives and properties of the Guyanese people.

Kascz, do not hold your breath. They are NOT capable of respecting Laws, people, norms and tradition. They despise such things and will never be able to act like normal humans!!!

And they can start by admitting that blacks have a right to think that the PPP was biased against them if that is how they feel.  This hugging and kissing women in the market fools no one. Elections were never a given under the PNC. This could be the case again. But just like the first go around of the PNC, they became increasingly despotic and widely despised. That will happen again.
