After reading many posters comments on the PPP and PNC, the element that is the clearest is their disappointment that in the 23 years that the PPP were in government, they failed to correct many of the wickedness that the PNC created during its 28 years rule between 1964 and 1992. While they seem to expect great things from the PPP, they don’t seem to expect anything from the PNC so are not in any way disappointed in the PNC second try at governance. One would think they would be more focused on the current gross mismanagement of the PNC but all we see is their constant comments on how disappointed they are in the PPP not correcting the wickedness that the PNC left the country in in 1992.

The bigger margin of PPP supporters are outside of Guyana. They will not be voting. How will the PPP win?  Jagdeo wants to be the Opposition Leader fuh life. Thus he hand picked Irfaart to be  the fall guy.

Irfaan was indeed a terrible decision by the PPP. Interestingly even as terrible as that decision is, the Coalition still feel that they have not done enough to win an election against him. Even I underestimated how poorly the Coalition thinks of themselves.
