I don’t know much about Imran Khan’s politics.  But electing him is breaking from the past in Pakistan.  This is certainly a new dawn in the era of politics as usual.  Hopefully he will move the country forward.  But, even if you don’t agree with his politics, you have to admire his achievement.  Imran Khan led Pakistan to an astounding victory to the World Cup in 1992.  He is a graduate of Oxford University.  And now Prime Minister of Pakistan.   This is a good role model for the youth of Pakistan.  Imran Khan can lead by example and the youth of Pakistan can aspire to greatness because they have someone to look up to in the field of sports, education, and politics.

Imran Khan is an Afghan Pakistani. If Pakistani youth want a true role model then they should look to my boy Javed.

Prash, you really need to stop writing on the basis of your imagination. Imran Khan is NOT of Afghan origin; he is Pashtun and nothing whatsoever in his lineage relates to Afghanistan. I know the man personally and I had several lengthy conversations with him in May/June 2016 when I was there in May 2016 for the inauguration of the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in Peshawar; to which Human Concern International contributed US$1 million.  Furthermore, there is nothing like 'Afghan Pakistani', there are Afghans who have remained in Pakistan; mostly in KPK, following the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979. The government of Pakistan, and indeed most Pakistanis, would like these people to return to their homeland but, after all the years that they have been living in Pakistan andf have raised families there, that is logistically and practically an extremely difficult task.

There is lots that you cannot see, Prash; simply because you do not know ! What evidence do you have to support your statement that people in Pakistan vote according to 'linguistic and ancestral area' ? That is total BS ! Furthermore, what do YOU know about the candidates who were seeking election ? Jorgan may think that I am an ediot but I am stating historically documented facts. You cannot have a ratio of  100 East Indian men to 20 East Indian women just off the boat imbalance and end up with a vibrant Guyanese East Indian population. Afro Guyanese women played a major role growing the Guyanese East Indian population.

Jackass, you said the Guyanese Indian population was started with one ndian man and one black woman. Good that you did your research and found there were women who came over on the Whitby and the Hesperus  Next time research first before posting. BTW I called you an IDIOT with an I.

With the arrival of the indentured immigrants, the plantation owners had a cheaper labor source. They paid the immigrants less than the freed slaves were asking for to return to the fields. As such, the former slaves saw the indentured immigrants as stealing their jobs.

I did not miss anything; Saudi Arabia is a sovereign nation and their actions/inactions are based on their reasoning and purposes; exactly as the USA, Canada or any other nation. What has that got to do with what we are/were discussing ? If you are attempting to suggest that the action(s) of one Muslim country does is indicative of all other Muslim nations, you are automatically telling the world at large that you are nothing more than a bigoted jackass ... because that is precisely what bigotry is !  Does the fact that Moraji Desai, a past prime minister of India, drank a glass of warm cow urine every morning translate into a daily practice by all Hindus ? Based on your warped and bigoted thinking, this should be indicative of all Hindus; is it ? You tell me ...

I look at the actions of Pakistan since it creation and mostly its citizens and those who have a natural affiliation towards barbarism.

Notice, I did not denigrtae you, which is the nature of idiotic muslims.

It is so easy to make blanket statements, isn't it ! Why don't you provide specifics ? I am not a Pakistani and I do not speak for Pakistan but having been there several times, I believe I have a pretty decent understanding of how their society functions. You on the other hand, have never been there but you are evidently so very knowledgeable of what they do. Why don't you post specifics of Pakistan's actions that you are resentful of ? While you are at it, please share your definition of 'barbarism'.

I suggest you take some time to re-read my response (above) to you. I asked you for specifics but you have provided none. It sound like you are au fait with everything that Pakistan has done since 1947. On what basis did you conclude that Pakistanis have a 'natural affiliation to barbarism' ? Please provide examples and the basis on which you came to this conclusion. Your final sentence made no sense whatsoever so it would be good if you would explain what you meant by 'the nature of idiotic muslims'.
