Fact is he was found guilty and sentenced. Any other facts are irrelevant. With all the talk of this and that, no PPP minister was found guilty and sentenced.

Contempt of court.

I know the case but that doesn't matter now as it was already settled in court. The only thing that was left unsettled was Jordan evading his sentence because Granger shielded him from the law. Hence my original comment that Granger can't help him now.

Still beating around the bush .Your focus is on the Coalition Government which inherited the matter.

The rubber stamp PM office in the Presidential Complex was moved out ,watchman keeping an eye on him.
â oversees Energy, Telecommunications Sector
DPI, Guyana, Saturday, August 15, 2020
To allow for the realignment of Ministerial portfolios and ensure efficiency, the Office of the Prime Minister of Guyana will no longer be located in the same building as the Office of the President.
Instead, the PPP/C Government led by His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, has opted to separate these two important offices. This was disclosed, by Vice-President, Hon. Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo, during a press briefing on Friday.
In the case of the Prime Ministerâs office specifically, the Vice-President said the President expects meaningful contributions towards national development and for that reason sectors have been realigned, and in this case of the Office of the Prime Minister, the formal duties reassigned.
The Prime Ministerâs office is responsible for the Energy Sector and Telecommunications.
âFirst of all, in terms of office, we were critical of the former APNU+AFC Coalition for their role in denuding the Office of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister, under the PPP/C, was Prime Minister, Samuel Hinds, and he had a weighty portfolio. He did technical work, and so we wanted to ensure, first of all, that our Prime Minister had a portfolio that keeps him busy,â the Vice-President explained.
Dr. Jagdeo said the Office of Prime Minister should also be Independent.
âOffice of the President became a super Ministry [under the former APNU+AFC Coalition Administration], so we made sure that we took these portfolios and placed them back with Ministers, independently. The Prime Minister has his independent office, and his portfolio deals with the Energy Sector, which is a huge sector,â Dr. Jagdeo stated.
With these responsibilities, Prime Minister, Brigadier (retâd), Hon. Mark Phillips, would be integrally involved in the energy solution for the country, the Vice-President explained.
Additionally, with the Prime Minister overlooking the Telecommunications Sector, the new PPP/C Government hopes to end the Telecommunications monopoly in the country.
Prime Minister Phillips, a retired Military Officer, who served as the Chief of Staff of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) from 2013 to 2016, holds as a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Public Management from the University of Guyana (UG), and a Masters of Science in Public Sector Management from La Pontificia Universidad CatÃģlica Madre y Maestra.
He also studied at the Inter-American Defense College in Washington D.C., and the United States Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Ha..ha..what an excuse for removing PM Office from the Presidential Complex.
What an excuse. It sounds like its only a black guy, we have no further use for him. So lets move him to the back of the bus and let the champion of the dirt have his office to control things more fully. Dem coolie voters will believe anything.
Did the PM not have an independent office at the OP or was he sitting on Ali's chair with him ?
Prior to 2015 the PM office was not at OP. Harmon put Nagamootoo there so he can watch him. Now the PPP has returned to how they operated by having the PM have his independence with no one watching over his shoulders.

If Ali is the President and in charge for all affairs and I believe the PM is next in line for command. What is Jagdeo's office doing there ?
So Kwame can watch a big man like Phillips? That is laughable.

For you !!!!
Prashad predicts that Anil may be fired by Irfan and President Jagdeo before this term is over. Word on the streets is that Irfan don't like Anil period.
Bai Prash, your judgement skills are very poor. You incorrectly predicted post election violence and I informed you that Jagdeo destroyed the PNC.
Ali needs Anil and as such Anil will be there for a very looooonnnngggg time. In fact, Anil will be the next President when Ali's two terms are over.
PNC is done and dusted with Granger digging in his heels to remain leader of the PNC. PPP should invest into having Granger as the opposition leader.
Nandlall is a legal genius. Watch out for Datadin also.
This is what I am hearing from the streets. Irfan don't like Anil's arrogance at all. I would not be surprised if Anil gets replaced by Datadin during this term.

Trump is special alright. He was educated in Special Ed classes.

This might well happen. Anil had wanted to be the Presidential nominee.
