These are ministerial errors committed by GECOM staff against PPP/C voters as the numbers of invalid votes being recorded in PPP/C strongholds in the hinterland regions are statistically high when compared to previous elections. So high that they materially affect the results which are still 51% PPP, 49% APNU in the official GECOM count.

 

The Representation of the People Act is clear that the ballots must be counted when the intention of the voter is clear and not in dispute. This is the case we have here.
