I predicted that this will happen.

Anyway this is how I see it. Trump took a punch on the nose from the Dems and had to sign the bill. 

He is taking a huge political gamble with the emergency which will definitely be challenged in the courts. He might win this one and claim victory to his base.

The dems appear to be leaning too far to the left and they better deal with that before the elections. The republicans will label them as Socialists, I see the label already being thrown around.
