An Eighty-three year old Guyanese man who has been living in London for five decades was shot five times to his body as bandits attacked him just after his arrival in Guyana.

An 83-year-old British Guyanese man was rushed into surgery at a private hospital in Georgetown after he was shot five times to his body and robbed just after arriving in Guyana.

The incident occurred just before 10 o’ clock on Tuesday morning in Shirley Field Ridley Square in South Georgetown. The man has been identified as Glendon Cadagon of London. He has lived in the United Kingdom for fifty years.

According to his sister, Gloria Davids, she was at her front door when the taxi that collected her brother at the airport, turned into the street. She said as she stepped indoors to prepare his welcome, she heard multiple gunshots and screams from her neighbour.

“All I hear my neighbour screaming and these gunshots and the neighbour saying they shooting he, they shooting he”, the woman said.

Ms. Davids said when she rushed back to the door, she saw her brother, who she described as strong for his age, just standing still as two men jumped into a waiting black car which sped off from the scene.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and safely rule out Indians having killed this poor man for the grave crime of not being Indian and possibly supporting the wrong party in this campaign.

According to Shaitaan, he isn't Indian so his death doesn't matter.

According to rev and the others, all is well in Guyana, so his death doesn't matter.

This will be reported in the UK press as most likely he is a UK citizen.  I wonder what Irfaan will say.  The guy didn't even have a chance to greet people who he most likely hadn't seen for decades.

So it doesn't matter.

Had the victim being Indian you would have been dragging Granger across the floor and screaming a conspiracy concocted at Congress Place.

Long Hair and other violent criminals who terrorized the Corentyne are Indians and virtually all of the victims were other Indians.

But Shaitaan doesn't mind, even though for every Indian attacked by a PNC supported for political purposes, at least 100 are attacked by criminals of varied ethnic backgrounds.

The PPP.  Hoyte hung people with some regularity and arrested Burnhamist hoodlums.  The PPP released them, and now use them to commit mischief.

Of course. what you expect them to say. In the eyes of some, this is paradise. Note: milk and honey has been replaced by bullets and more bullets. smfh.

This is terrible.  My sympathy to the man and family.

That's why people don't like to come back to the PPP's paradise.

And to think that I just booked to go next week to help with the Coalition's campaign.

Family and friends who knows that this man was arriving made arrangements with criminals to do the hit. It applies to all races in Guyana but moreso Black and Indian people. This has been going on for a long time. Have you guys, who claim to know what is going on in Guyana, been sleeping?

As well, it could have been arranged from the immigration officers at Timehri.

From what I am reading I don't think that the man is dead. Thankfully, he is still alive.
