Guyanese Shameer Allie arrested in Toronto

Toronto – The Immigration Task Force arrested one of Canada Border Services Agency’s “Most Wanted” on Thursday.

Shameer Allie, aged 36, a Guyanese national, was arrested in the Toronto area. The arrest occurred without incident. Allie has a number of criminal convictions in Canada including violence and weapons related offences. Allie was wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for removal from Canada. Allie is under CBSA custody. The CBSA has initiated removal proceedings.

The information that led to this arrest originated from a tip to the CBSA Most Wanted website.
