Well it was actually 3-1, but Rodrigues (Guyana) gave Mexico a goal when he kneed the ball.

The bad.  Guyana's offense was terrible.  By comparison they had little opportunities to score.  There were three chances for them to get a goal, one of which was sure to get pass, but the ball grazed the top of the goal post. Their passing was a big problem. Too many turnovers.

The good. Guyana's defense played well. Mexico spent the majority of their time in Guyana's zone, but only managed 2 goals (by Mexican players).  You could clearly see the frustration by the Mexican coaching staff.  They were expecting to completely dominate Guyana and send a message to the world. It just didn't happen.

If there is anything we can take from this loss, it is Guyana is not as over matched as we assumed. Mexico is considered one of the top teams. I think Guyana can feel good about themselves despite the loss.
