GEORGETOWN –

A Partnership for National Unity and the Alliance For Change are confident that the Coalition has conducted a vertically integrated campaign and our internal monitoring has indicated that we have won these elections, and the people of Guyana have spoken definitively for change.

APNU+AFC is concerned by the disinformation campaign currently being waged by the People Progressive Party- PPP that they have won the General and Regional Elections by a slim majority. The coalition regards this as mischievous, provocative and not in the best interest of the country.

APNU+AFC urges the Guyana Elections Commission to use its best efforts to provide a timely declaration of the results to put the nation at rest.

The PNC said no such thing.  The PPP however threw a gas on a fire by conducting stunts to disrupt the voting process.  Face it the black population feels under tremendous pressure under the PPP and have low tolerance for any shenanigans on their part.  Call me a racist for saying this.  I don't care.

Thanks to all parts of APNU AFC they pacified the crowds.

Here we have Jagdeo today throwing more gas on the fire.

The PPP ran a vicious campaign against Afro Guyanese and they need to be held to account.  I don't care who calls me a racist for saying this but FACTs are FACTs.

#‎GuyanaElections‮ APNUAFC has halted its posting of results upon the request of GECOM...

It looks like APNU+AFC are updating this website once again with the SOP's they received. GECOM too slow.

Dr. Surujbally, please explain to the Guyanese people why it was possible to ascertain more that 90% of region 9 election results but less than 15% of region 4,5,6,10 and 3 results( Tuesday 12th  Morning update). The regions are relatively closer to Georgetown where the final counting and reporting are conducted.

As and inclusive Guyanese, I strongly suggest that you conduct a professional and candid discussion addressing the reasons for the delay in reporting the results (region 4,5,6,7 and 10). This discussion will be appropriate since it will appease the Guyanese people both at home and abroad and add value and creditability to the electoral process. This explanation will serve best if discussed before the winner of the election is announced.

Doesn't matter.  According to this there are 272 boxes not included 146 from Regions 4 and 10.  Almost all of the Region 4 not counted are in G/town, mainly Gtown South.

The gap will narrow as there are also Region 1, 3, and 7 outstanding.  If the outstanding 7 are in the remote regions the PPP will win most of those votes.

But I just don't see additional PPP votes offsetting votes to be included for G/town.

I can only wonder what Jagdeo is up to as he contemplates how flawed his campaign strategy based on hate was.

Folks the position announced by Mr. Granger today is based on solid numbers. I can assure you that had Mr. Granger and Mr. Nagamootoo not have absolute confidence in the numbers they would not have announced.

I have seen the numbers as well.

We have received and tallied 2025 SoPs (there is a total of 2299 SoPs).

What we have tallied shows as follows:

APNU+AFC – 182,176
PPP/C – 157,947

That represents a lead of 24,229.

But what does this all mean? Can PPP/C still take the lead?

We do not believe they can.

Why?

For a number of reasons.

1. Of the 274 SoPs outstanding, 120 of those are from Region 4. Region 4 is an APNU+AFC stronghold.

2. 33 of the SoPs outstanding are from Region 7. Region 7 is an APNU+AFC stronghold.

3. 24 of the SoPs outstanding are from Region 10. Region 10 is an APNU+AFC stronghold.

That represents a total of 177 SoPs (out of 274) from APNU+AFC strongholds. For the PPP to begin to even have a sniff they would have to be trouncing us really badly in these three stronghold regions. That is virtually impossible.

Therefore we are confident that the results are inevitable and GECOM can only announce one result – an APNU+AFC Coalition win.

Please remain calm and resolute and let us await GECOM’s official announcement which I would think would come sometime in the next 12-18 hours.

Looks like good turn out in PNC areas and continued inroads in Berbice are the reasons for the coalition victory.

The PPP continues to defend the interior and Essequibo, West Dem. Demolished in East Dem.  Gtwn demolishes PPP and that is where a large concentration the uncounted votes are.

Why is the PPP trying to fool itself?

You need to apologize to Moses because the change in 6, not disputed by the PPP, has been remarkable. In GT, the numbers look credible despite PPP complaints. It appears they lost traction to the tune of 15000 votes. It does not appear on the APNU side of the equation so it means these people did not turn out or they simply were not there

You need to say thanks to Moses.
