GTT provides support to FCFC Youth Football & Leadership Camp

The football skills of youths in the South Georgetown area will be sharpened through GTT’s donation of 20 footballs to the Fruta Conquerors Football Club (FCFC) which will be hosting its 10th Annual Football Youth Camp, which commenced on July 10 and will conclude on July 20.

The presentation of the balls followed a request made by the club to the company. GTT’s, Public Relations Officer, Ms Alison Parker said that the presentation of the balls is a demonstration of the company’s support for initiatives at the grassroots and community levels which provides the platform for the energy and talent of youths to be channeled in a positive direction.

In accepting the balls on the club’s behalf, Secretary, Mr. Daniel Thomas expressed thanks to GTT for supporting a programme that engages the youths of the several communities in a productive manner.

Thomas said the Camp will this year place much more emphasis into molding the participants into potential and future leaders and would this time be more of a “Youth Leadership Camp.”

The Camp caters for youths, both male and female, between the ages of 7 to 17.
