A sitting government that campaigned to rid corruption must continue on that path to recover every penny of taxpayers money. The government already spend $50 million on forensic audit to uncovered Jagdeo and PPP members wealth. For a sitting President to make a deal with Jagdeo to stop the audit in exchange for his cooperation to form a broader coalition with the opposition is an indirect squandering of the people's money.

Jagdeo didn't agreed to any such proposal because he is innocent and waiting to counter sue the government for $billions for character assassination.
