I don't know, but from what I can tell, she's no lawyer.

It's actually a criminal offence pretending to be a lawyer.

Not necessarily so, Sean ...

-- One can indeed claim to be an attorney. However the said person must not; in any way, shape or form; impersonate a specific person who is a lawyer and also the said person does not practice law.

Claudette Singh cannot withdraw from an appeal she never made.

She was enjoined to the initial matter in the COA. Remember there was an opportunity for several parties to join the case after APNU petitioned to the COA.

And also recall where she stood on the matter - arguing that APNUAFC had no valid grounds to make an appeal.

I assume PPP/C was hoping her submissions would help buttress their argument, but instead, they cannot rely on her. It is her right to not appear or make submissions. Like I stated, this is a blow to PPP/C. Such actions evidence that she does not wish to challenge the COA's decision, thereby leading the way for a declaration on valid votes only.

It is not a blow to the PPP/C, any other ones nor groups.

Issues are being assembled and the specific matter will be discussed by the Caribbean Court of Justice - CCJ - starting on Wednesday, July 01, 2020.

It will be seen what develops at that time.

Wow, Rochelle, this is a first, very original and brilliant. You have a lovely voice.     I think these Indo chaps are now smitten with you.    Now they'll want you to slap your law degree here.

Let it be known that an APNU/AFC agenda is being peddled here. When someone doesn't speak on the broader aspect of the election episodes, it speaks volume of that person's character. We don't have a forum attorney. Each time the news breaks in favor of APNU, it's an occasion for green celebration. Guyana is not green or red, it every color that makes up our country. To whom it may be, no one from either side doesn't impress me when this election is about their selfish fulfillment. I have been following the narrative on both sides on a daily basis. Let's give the CCJ a chance to do its job on July 01.

This is a public forum for members to engage in discussions or simply to read the posts.

It is doubtful that this is a forum for PNCR/APNU/AFC, PPP/C or any other political group's agenda.

Individuals do have their personal perspectives on the political issues.

How long have you been waiting to jump on my throat?

The APNU/AFC agenda is based on the topic heading, but it continues on to the highlighted portion.

You of all people should know that I don't favor any party, but I push for justice and fairness.

This is all assumptions:

2. Justice Singh understands President Granger will be sworn in as President for a second term and no longer wishes to support the applicant's case. This can only mean she agrees with Lowenfield's report.

3. This was all a chess move. Make your enemies think they have won until the very last moment when they are trapped in their own web of lies.

Mr. moderator, you should refrain from engaging in posting pro-PPP topics on the site if you want to be neutral.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, as Petal continues uninterruptible with her/his burps with absolutely nothing of substance to a discussion topic.
