PNC Apartheid. This is quite disgusting yet their supporters show up here hanging onto their race crutch. 

These may not be the faces that represent all of Guyana....nor does it reflect the multi-ethnic society that is Guyana. This situation reflects the path chosen by Guyanese, their employment preferences, geographical proximity, etc. 

I say this because I recall the leader of that institute did make a comment at some time, admitting that it was mostly Africans who applied and that non-Africans are not applying to Bertram Collins College to be trained a good civil servants. This does not mean that it is a reflection of an APARTHEID system or "Blunt Racism". These words imply that there are deliberate obstacles that prevent non-Africans from applying or from being accepted.

However,  this perception of "preferential selection"  can be addressed by political leaders to come with a workable system that is more inclusive. The same can be said of other institutions like the army, coast guard, police, etc. If the opposition remain silent about perception of racism, this will only continue until the issue is addressed and discussed frontally by political leaders.

So to suggest that this is racism and apartheid is huge stretch. Guyana is already facing problems with a labor shortage and is in need of an efficient civil service.

Listen dunce, the PPP was able to use the Army and Police effectively to buss PNC balls. The army is no longer a PNC army as fools like you would to imagine.
