The leaders of the oppositions (APNU/AFC) agrees to meet with president Donald Ramotar at (OP) to discuss the 2013 budget, and to make some demands from the PPP govt before funds can be allocated. If these demands are not met, the oppositions will agree for a snap election in April 2013. By all indication, the PPP will not bend to any demand from the combined oppositions.
Taking into consideration:
1) The AFC tabled a motion to halt public funding for Marriott Hotel Project which is under construction.
2) The Minister of Home Affairs is barred from tabling any bill in parliament.
3) The speaker condones bullyism and anarchy in parliament in favor of the oppositions.
4) The oppositions (AFC/APNU) protested the (OP) in New Amsterdam demanding that Minister "Rohee must go" before the official facts of the (COI) report released.
5) From November 2011 to now, Guyanese has not yet seen any promise fulfilled from APNU/AFC, rather than burning down school in Linden, killing their own people and inciting riot to make the country ungovernable.
APNU feels confident about a snap election this time around. What do you think? Is this another attempt to push the president against a wall, or are they making a brave move to accomplished nothing? One thing for sure, Guyana will be hanging in the balance without funds.
