COUNT EVERY VOTES CAST FOR ALL 10 REGIONS , from the March 2, 2020 Elections.
So whatâs wrong with dissemination of accurate information? At least someone is doing what GECOM canât seem to be able to do. How about you reach out to GECOM; tell them to get a move on it instead of complaining everyday.

How do you know the information is accurate ?
The Electoral LAWS of Guyana states GECOM declares the OFFICIAL RESULTS of ELECTIONS.
It's called exposing skulduggery , not complaining .

Mercury either manufactured the fake results or is disseminating fake results provided by the PPP. The proof is actually in the numbers provided. These fake results suggest that the total number of votes cast is 447,492. If you add the number of votes purportedly obtained by the PPP(232,465) and Coalition (215,027)you get this number. So far, so good? Then just below those numbers the Table suggests that the seats allocated are PPP 34, Coalition 30 and small parties 1. This is impossible because if the total number of votes cast is the sum of the Coalition's and PPP votes then this would suggest that the small parties got no votes whatsoever but they must have if they got a seat. Anyone with half a brain looking at the results disseminated by Mercury must know that they are fake.

Hopefully the official declaration to the public at large by GECOM will be available, perhaps by next week ... April 13 to 17, 2020.

Those figures seem a lil skewered as Totaram said. APNU plus PPP total 447,492. (Total of votes cast) nowhere does it show votes for the smaller parties. Is what kinda bumbarass goin on here?

Stop dabbling in conjecture and complete the count/verification. After that talk of this one seat thingy. It donât matter, the outcome is clear.
It seems as though PNC taught Mercury to count, explain those totals Base.
Based on the SOP results issues, nine verified and one unverified, all together the smaller (Joinder) parties got just under 3,000 and received one Top-up seat.
But no need for all the guessing, just complete the verification and let the chips fall.
After the recount (which will take 150+ days) there will be a call for "third time final" taking another 150+ days, add in a lil blackout, some spraying for cackroach and by next year dis time the chips might fall.

Now, the PNC-dominated APNU+AFC was claiming victory even before Clairmont mangled the verification process. But they are mysteriously concealing their SOPs raw data. That's befuddling to say the least. Releasing APNU+AFC SOPs numbers or those of the PPP/C doesn't contravene any law as they're NOT official declarations. Why worry with Mercury? Mercury did not contest the election. Mercury did not create the PPP or the PNC SOP. Why blame them? What's the reason for 156 days to count less than 500,000 votes? As it was carrying out its duties yesterday at the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM)âs Command Centre at High and Hadfield Streets, the Organization of American States (OAS) Electoral Observation Mission found that a less than transparent process was being used by Returning Officer Clairmont Mingo to ascertain the results for Region Four.
In light of this, it took the decision to relinquish its role in the electoral process. The OAS made these and other statements in a missive it issued to the media yesterday.
The Observer team reminded that the ruling of Chief Justice (ag), Roxane George on March 11, last, stated that the Returning Officer or Deputy Returning Officer must determine the best method of tabulating the Statements of Poll and included the expectation âthat the Returning Officer would act reasonably in ensuring a process that allows persons to observe what is being tabulated and how.â
Based on its observations, however, the OAS said that this did not occur.
The Observer Mission said that instead, and without any plausible explanation, the Returning Officer continued to ascertain the votes cast for each party list without affording the duly authorized candidates and counting agents an opportunity to see the Statements of Poll, so that they could compare them with the copies in their possession. It said that such a process could have been easily facilitated using the same technology which allows the tabulation to be displayed.
Further to this, the OAS Observer Mission stated that the Returning Officerâs defiance of the Chief Justiceâs orders and expectations, as well as his refusal to allow the Statements of Poll to be exhibited, gives credence to the allegations that the numbers being tabulated do not correspond with the numbers appearing on the Statements of Poll prepared following the March 2 elections.
Also of significance for the Mission was the fact that that images of the Statements of Poll published by the PPP/Civic, on its website, which it claims were given to its polling agents after the ballots were counted at each polling station on the night of the elections, produce a result that is vastly different from that being declared by the Returning Officer, and would therefore have a decisive effect on the outcome of the national election.
To date, neither the Chief Elections Officer nor APNU has challenged the authenticity of the Statements of Poll published by the PPP/Civic by producing the copies in their possession, the Observer Mission stated. It said that the implications are deeply troubling and make it all the more necessary for the Returning Officer to display the Statements of Poll on which he is relying.
Even though it was pleased to note that the March 2 poll was, in almost all respects, well executed, as well as the fact that the subsequent tabulation of the Statements of Poll in the other nine regions was carried out in compliance with the law, the OAS registered its disappointment that it could not express similar sentiments for the process employed by the Returning Officer for Region Four.
Based on the numbers that have emanated since the process was first disrupted, the OAS team said it is unlikely that one can have a result that is credible and able to command public confidence.
Further to this, the team said that the legitimacy of any government that is installed in these circumstances will be open to question, while noting that this would be a terrible blow to the countryâs democracy.
âThe people of Guyana do not deserve this. (And) given the circumstances cited above, the OAS Electoral Observation Mission regrets that it has no option but to withdraw from GuyanaâĶâ

If and when the PNC admits that they lost the election and the PPP is installed, would the PPP be allowed to claim the lost month(s) they were denied and extend their term? I think they should get an extra year also since Granger refused to resign and trigger elections.

Each party has a fraction of 1 seat. The party with the largest fraction gets the seat. Now that you know the actual result of the March 02, 2020 election, why do you want a recount? The PPP/C wins the election.

From my own interactions or dealings with the PPP big guns, they can be very disingenuous. The above dissemination is not official. Anyway, I think the PPP won. Your last question aptly applies to both the PPP and the PNC.

So here is the thing. A PPP guy passed away (Komal Chand) a post was made regarding this by someone who is "seen" as one not liking the PPP, from then on posters added their condolences.
The irony in this, one poster is a backer of PPP on that thread, another one possibly, the rest including Totaram not PPP did the decent thing.
A post was then made by one who loves PPP and picktcha like a picktha, about an idiot making crude remarks of the deceased...that poster didn't even leave an RIP but took the time to leave a negative post. I mentioned the post to Django. As you guys love to say..Who vex, vex.

Much of the apparent confusion regarding GECOM operations is caused by the PPP commissioners, especially Gunraj. This man just can't wait for meetings to finish to rush to the reporters to cause confusion. Perhaps Justice Singh should put a gag order on the commissioners and she and only she should speak to the press. The reason that Lowenfield's estimate to complete the count is so lengthy is because of conditions imposed by the PPP commissioners. Apparently they wanted one of the three of them to be present at each table so that only three boxes could be counted simultaneously. With conditions like that do the math and then comment on the reasonableness of the estimate.

CAN someone explain why is Mercury Public Relations LLC disseminating unofficial election results to various members of the American government? Isnât this a form of electoral misconduct on behalf of the PPP?

Open Secrets have released documents which disclose that Mercury LLC is behind the scenes to side with the PPP and use propaganda against the current government. Mercury is being paid to influence the elections. This doesnât look like a business promotional campaign; it reeks of the putrid smell of foreign meddling!
Correspondence has shown that Mercury is liaising with members of the OAS and United States government to vouch for the PPP, while using excuses such as: âGuyana is near Venezuelaâ to vilify the current government. This makes me wonder if journalists are being compromised by Mercury LLC; whether they are being bribed or being indirectly influenced by the propaganda. One baffling revelation is that of the ramblings of Mr. Freddie Kissoon. He is a journalist who suffered physical violence under the PPP during a wave of assassinations of political dissidents.
But recently, Mr. Kissoon has lamented that those who resist the lies, propaganda and bullying from the PPP do not love their country. He has also written in a way more angrier tone in his past articles, though no one in the current government has attacked him or his family. Wouldnât it be foolish to assume that one should love Guyana by way of the PPP âdemocracyâ when Bharrat Jagdeo is pleading for international sanctions? Isnât that an oxymoron of stratospheric proportions?
People who love Guyana should be vigilant against the lies, propaganda and falsehoods that the PPP is doling out through Mercury Public Affairs LLC. There might be a political scandal in the making, and the PPP might be shown as the Emperor with no clothes when their sweet tides of lies evaporate in the heat of public scrutiny of God-fearing people. Shame on the PPP and Mercury Public Affairs for the mudslinging of fabricated propaganda!

A Louisville, Kentucky, US company claimed that it had a hand in defeating a 23-year incumbent president in Guyana.
El Toro LLC, a local advertising technology company, was hired to help with digital strategy to elect David Granger, a retired army chief, as the South American countryâs new President in May.
US ad tech firm, El Toro claims role in coalitionâs May 11 victory.
Though itâs not El Toroâs first political race, it is the first time the Louisville startup was hired for an international election, said Marty Meyer, Vice President of political campaigns and corporate outreach.
El Toro has patented an algorithm that maps physical households with Internet addresses, allowing the company to precisely deliver online advertisements to specific IP addresses. (The company is featured as one of Louisvilleâs coolest office spaces in todayâs weekly edition of Business First.)
El Toro was hired by Brad Goodman, a political consultant for the Granger campaign, with whom the company has previously worked on American elections.
Meyer said that campaigns usually target undecided voters with mail pieces or door knockers. El Toro does the same thing, but the efforts were online. For the cost of a mailer, the company can deliver 40 to 50 times the information to a home.
âWeâre the only people on the planet right now that can deliver the digital with such granularity,â he said.
Meyer said the race was a long shot because of the incumbentâs two-decade hold on the government. In addition, the media are government-controlled in Guyana, so the campaign had no access to advertise on TV or radio.
Meyer said itâs the first time Guyanese people have seen political banner ads, which added a novel aspect to the campaign.
With more than half of Guyanese using mobile devices, El Toro also incorporated Facebook advertising and targeted mobile devices, according to a news release.
âWe implemented a multi-layered campaign and delivered several million impressions to reach voters across the entire country,â Stacy Griggs, president and CEO of El Toro, said in the release.
âPresident Granger and his team were very digitally savvy and knew that online outreach, especially to the youth of Guyana, would be critical to winning the election.â
Mayer said about 30 percent of El Toroâs business is political elections. Last year, El Toro was contracted in 426 campaigns in the United States, and it helped win 82 percent of those elections.
El Toro currently employs 15 at its offices in Distillery Commons. Recently, it opened a one-person Australian office in Melbourne, where David Harry, CEO of El Toro Asia Pacific, works. (bizjournals.com)
