Is this Democracy?

The US should have kicked him out. Pakistan is a dangerous nation and anyone like Imram who has anti American views should not be allowed to enter the US. Period.

That is his last visit. I am sure he will never set foot here again. And yes that is democracy at work.

The drones are working to kill out these backward fools.  Imran is playing politics.  This is a man who in the old days liked a good party.  While the Taliban thinks people should be in bed by 7 pm. So Imran better watch what he says before it come back to bite him.

Pakistani politicians are an enigma.  Everything they say must be taken into the context of three forces at play, 1) Maintain Pakistan as a "secular" but Islamic republic, 2) managing a "relationship of convenience" with the USA and 3) pandering to the radicals/extremists who project Pakistan's agenda/hegemony into Afganistan and Northern India.

Imran khan, by all measures, is a moderate and secular voice in Pakistan dealing with the political realities of Pakistan.  I hear US politicians questioning the use of drones and other US measures.  Should their motives be questioned?

Imran Khan is not a moderate.  This is the man who wanted Pakistani forces to remain in Cargil India after they invaded recently.  Read about what Imran has to say about the Sita White affair. 

A Pakistani man once told me that as long as Sind and Punjab remain in Pakistan no white man will ever be elected President of Pakistan and that includes Imran.

Imran is playing the politics.

Imran Khan is South Asian. He is from a  Pashtun tribe that has lived in the Punjab region of India and now Pakistan since the 15th century. What the Pakistani brother is saying is this.  The Pashtun peoples of Pakistan are of Afgan origin and the Baloch people of Pakistan are of Iranian origin.  These so called "white peoples" are from Pakistan but they are see by many Pakistanis as not being real son of the soil Pakistani people like the brown people of the Sind or Punjab because their ethnic origins are from somewhere else.  So they will never be elected as President from a majority vote.  They may become President by coup or parlimentary election but not by majority vote as long as Sind and Punjab remain in Pakistan.

I think it is very wrong.  Imran Khan comes from a long line of cricketers who represented both India and Pakistan.  In my mind he will always be a true indus warrior regardless of what that fool and others like him say.

Benazir Bhutto was of mixed ethnicity.  Her father  Ali Bhutto was from the Sind and his father was from Gujarat India.  Her mother was an Iranian Kurd but most Pakistanis do not know this.

A hellfire missle will find him one of these days.
