If it is true that Moses Nagamoottoo said "

When questioned on the matter on Monday by Guyana Times, Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo said nonchalantly that "he was not bothered or in any way affected by President Granger reneging on that agreement and chairing the proceedings of the Cabinet".

Nagamootoo had further stated that "the Accord was not worth more than the country" and, as such, those were minor things. “We have an active President and we have to make this Accord work; make this coalition work; and for me the things that are minor irritancies I won’t elevate to any importance,” he had said.

I stated before that the Constitution is the Bhagwat Gita/Bible or Quran etc of the Nation and any document thereafter must be consistent with the said Constitution. President Granger took an Oath and swore to protect the Constitution of Guyana NOT THE CUMMINGSBURG ACCORD.

There are precendents available to indicate that when parties to an agreement begins to change the language, clause(s) or sentences in an agreement, it is only a question of time before the entire agreement is whittled away and becomes null and void and of no effect.

When Moses say that "theAccord is not worth more than the country" he is right. However, is he also saying that the Cummingsburg Accord is a worthless  piece of document that was signed by his party? Is he and the rest in the AFC also saying that knowing this he intentionally lied by selling the contents of this document to his supporters during the election campaign? Was the General Election won under false pretences?

Bai Don, to borrow a word from D_G, Moses was an Accordwallah before May 11.

Today, Moses is a countrywallah.

Country > Accord = Wallah-wallah-bing-bang.

Whatever, I look forward to progress under President Granger. I hope he doesn't disappoint.

The Guyana Constitution always take precedent over any documents inconsistent with the focus of the constitution.

Cummingsburg Accord is simple a private agreement between the PNC and AFC devoid of any relationship with the Constitution.

Moses never said that.

The Accord has gotten us to this point.  The PPP lost.

WE are trying to build a country.

Our leaders would work out all the things that are irritants.

Be optimistic that it works or cork duck.
