Saw Gilly and a few others into historical reading and thought I will share this find.

Today we remember Camilo Cienfuegos on his birthday, he would have been turning 86 years old.
Camilo was born in Havana, he was on the Granma expedition that started the Cuban Revolution and survived it. During the Sierra Maestra he became the commander of one out of the three columns that won the war against Batista’s dictatorship.
Cienfuegos will always be remembered for his fidelity to the Cuban People and to the revolution. For his fighting and commanding skills he was called “Vanguard Lord” and “Hero of Yaguajay.
