The City of Toronto has issued an extreme cold weather alert for this evening  Nov 21 — the first of the season.

Extreme cold weather alerts are issued by the Medical Officer of Health when Environment Canada predicts a temperature of -15 C or colder, or a wind chill of -20 C or colder in the city, and when the forecast includes factors that increase the impact of cold weather on health, like a high wind chill or precipitation.

Feels like -15 right now. Me ears froze when I went for my daily walk. I will have to gear up for the bitter cold.

Looks like we will have a bitter winter this year. I read that there will be a road and driveway salt shortage this year. Stock up.
