Growing up by the Corentyne River in the 50s and 60s, I see the difference of the water levels then and now.

Climate change exists for ages with imperceptible adjustments taking place.

 

Example, in the northern parts of Canada; especially in the the now Alberta area; dinosaurs roamed the places with new remnants being found in various parts of the province.

 

Currently, the northern parts in on a gradual rise in temperatures; with perhaps millions years from now; where the areas would again be warm like in the tropics.
