Nah, those of us who came here legally with "Green Cards" had Alien registration numbers. Now, as the saying goes, "mouth open, story jump out". Strange you should immediately think of Mazaruni. Is that where you got your ahem.........divine "intervention", your tonsils tickled by way of your rectum?

No! I haven't your addictions!

This talk about International hotels coming to build in Guyana is BS! With such a small population who is going to bother? The oil is ofshore, what would investors come to Guyana for? Some cities in the US, Canada and elsewhere have more opportunities for doing or starting a business, having more consumers than all of Guyana! Stop dreaming and build a refinery suitable to the kind of oil they are finding, derivative products cost more than oil! Let's say a gallon of oil is $5, and the cost of derivatives, naturally, is $8, how will you be developing your country? Better build the refinery NOW! And carry on with developing your agriculture and other customary industries, until the refinery is built! Only then can you successfully build other industries! First things, FIRST! In peace or war, oil decides the outcome! Don't make Nigeria's mistake, which they are now busy correcting!

Before anything, they should generate reliable electricity right away. It is crucial for any development. Implement whatever methods even though costly just to get things moving. If is all talk and no action by the government then it is all a pipe dream.

And I think it is all a pipe dream concerning development. Dey juss doan show any initiative. President Jagdeo likes keepig things local.

True, if that electricity was for the purpose of development of industry, creating jobs, and not for the consuming public! They are accustomed to unreliable electrical services and could wait a bit longer! As I've said, first things FIRST! I supported the coalition government because of a scheming Jagdeo, even though I was aware of their faults! I had hoped the AFC would be an ameliorating influence on them but they seemed to have only used the AFC! Now I'm watching Ali to see if he will be his own man and not Jagdeo's puppet! Instead of delaying the inevitable, the coalition, or rather the PNC, should have conceded victory to the PPP/c and then watch them carefully in the future, ready to expose any illegal activity on the PPP's part! But they were only concerned about the oil money in the hands of the PPP which used skilfully could mean landslide victories for the PPP in the future! But I wouldn't worrry about that! They would embrace corruption, I'm sure, once the oil money starts flowing! How did Jagdeo and Ali acquire their mansions? Drug money?

Another thing! The oil will run out someday! If a refinery is built now, Guyana could always buy oil from another country and continue development of other industries! There are also alternatives to oil but they cost too much right now!

Well, wise one: what do you do when the demand for oil drops?  Is Guyana's share of the oil enough to justify a refinery? Do you think the wise people in Guyana haven't thought about building a refinery? Isn't Jagdeo the best economist in the world and doesn't he know everything about everything?

The demand for oil and its derivatives will drop in Guyana, huh? How will Guyana develop its inustries? By importing what others have developed from its oil? Sell oil for $1 and buy its derivative for $2, huh? Guyana has good credit and can easily afford to build a refinery! NOW! Jagdeo is a scheming Communist who wanted to liaise with Manuro to help create a Socialist South American Republic! As if the US and the Latin American military would have done nothing about its 'ownership' of South America! Russia and China are too far away to help and have their own problems! These two clowns are unrealistic! Castro, I understand, encouraged drugs for the US! Why didn't Jagdeo meet with Pompeo? That would have been embarassing, wouldn't it?!!!
