BTW when Jagdeo used to visit NYC as President he used to beg for Burke to meet him.  On one occasion Bloomberg had an event to meet the Caribbean Heads, and only Jagdeo didn't go.  He was too busy trying to get Burke to meet him. 

I bet that Burke found the Bloomberg event more relevant.  Who wouldn't think that meeting a very wealthy man, with loads of connections in global finance would have been more important.

On that occasion Jagdeo was whining that Burke was making him look bad in front of black people, so was begging him to stop.   Maybe Jagdeo was terrified that his reputation as a black hating racist would damage him in front of Obama.

After Obama shunned Jagdeo at the Caribbean conference in Trinidad Jagdeo was running behind any one who had the clout to get Obama to meet him.  Burke was one of these.

Obama told Jagdeo that he wasn't going to waste any time with him until he stopped dilly dallying about allowing DEA to set up operations.

The only things that Jagdeo can control are the racist cretins who support him.

I know Burke was in YSM,in his younger days,he was a presser footer all decked up and with his briefcase.I also know his father one of my friend brother worked under him.

Always thought that Burke was one of those All American types.  He is very integrated into the US political system.  That's why Jagdeo was running him down and begging Burke to stop calling him a black hating racist (which Jagdeo does happen to be).

Come on, stop lying.  Remember the townhall face off in 2011 between Bharrat J and Rickford B where Bharrat J made a jackass of Rickford B?  Even Caribj went into hiding after that Brooklyn fiasco!

Don't remember any such thing because it is only PPP partisans like you who would have applauded Jagdeo.  In fact Burke received high praise from Afro Guyanese as well as blacks from other parts of the Caribbean.

I do remember Jagdeo begging and pleading with Burke.  I was in the room when his operatives were begging Burke, and the rest of us, including people from other parts of the Caribbean, wanted to know since when Burke was so important that Jagdeo was willing to forgo a meeting with Michael Bloomberg.

Of course other Caribbean nations went to that meeting, and developed ties with that man.  Bet Jamaica got some business out of that meeting, as they aren't stupid slouches like the PPP or APNU.

Then you all wonder why all the PPP did was to leave us with a seriously failing GuySICKO, and an economy with a structure unchanged from 1946.
