Whatever life serves him, Boris Johnson is  seldom stuck for a colourful turn of phrase.

Faced with a dish of camel on a trade mission  to the Gulf, however, he showed that being Mayor of London does not mean he  can’t act like every other tourist too - by reaching for his smartphone to take  a photo of the local delicacy.

Mr Johnson was confronted with the exotic  meal, piled high on a large salver, yesterday when he met with the UAE’s  Minister of Culture and Youth Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan in Abu  Dhabi.

The smiling Sheikh leaned in towards the  impressive platter as Mr Johnson clicked away using the camera on his iPhone.  London’s Mayor then sat down again - and tucked in.

Camel is said to taste like ‘coarse beef’ and  can be tough and chewy. But sources said he ‘enjoyed’ the meal.

I'm sure you have seen Andrew Zimmern eat some outrageous stuff on Bizarre foods on the Travel Channel. I actually like his show--I'd like him to do a show in Guyana one day---maybe I ought to drop him a line---direct him to Guyana.

I saw that episode with Andrew in Suriname---very interesting---thought to myself---he may be interested in Guyana also.

Rev, what is bizarre about eating Metagee? To you it may be ****** people food but I don't see anything bizarre about eating potatoes, yams, eddoes, etc with salt fish in coconut milk.

Calm down! Have you ever seen Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre foods on the Travel channel ?

In addition to bizarre dishes---Andrew also features unique eats--and metagee would qualify as uniquely Guyanese.

I haven't had metagee in years but I love it---and yes--it's even more delicious with saltfish.

Here is the question that was asked and your answer to it. This is what I called you out on. I've seen Zimmern's show but it does not change the question or your answer so quit beating around the bush and address what I referenced. If you'd like to say that you didn't mean to say that Metagee is a bizarre food, then you're welcome to retract your statement, but don't come pretending that I didn't understand what you said since it's clear as day.
