BREAKING: 17-year-old boy beaten to death at No. 3 Village as protest escalates

A 17-year-old boy of Number 3 Village, West Coast Berbice (WCB) was on Wednesday morning murdered in the backlands as protests escalated over the murder of two teens Joel and Isaiah Henry.

The News Room understands that Haresh Singh was heading into the backlands with his motorcycle to transport water for his uncles at around 06:00h when he was attacked and beaten.

He was found by his 12-year-old brother with multiple injuries at around 11:30h. The younger brother was heading into the backdam to look after the family’s cows when he saw Singh’s motorcycle was torched and he decided to look for him.

The teen’s sister, Amrita Singh told the News Room her brother died on his way to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital.

Struggling to hold back tears, Amrita said herself and brothers live with their grandmother who is ill.

This is unacceptable. Stabroek News is reporting that he is the grandson of one of the suspects in the Henry boys' murders. The police has to move into that area and establish a presence. Granger needs to appeal to his supporters to be calm and dial down the violence. Retaliation is not going to solve anything and riling up the people with mischievous rumors is not helping either.

Ali, Jagdeo,  Granger and Harmon needs to get together and stop this escalation.  Because Indians will now want revenge, or there will be the 1960's all over again, with no British to stand between the races.

Don't blame Granger and Harmon they together with Volda already called for calm from their supporters. You cannot control 200 years of anti koolie hate in people minds with words.

If you were present during the 1960s instead of gulping down Russian beers with Cheddie Jagan daddy you would know that the violence against Indians only stopped when persons from the other side started to disappear from their villages with out a trace.

Where de rass do you think I was in the 1960s.  Post your email and I will send you my pictures of house burning, political meetings, marches and  British soldiers in villages. You think violence settle anything ?

The PPP government is trying to get the police to investigate but the PNC is not cooperating.  The PPP must not concede anything like the did in 1997 with the Hermandston accord. The PNC and AFC  are trying to use the tragedy for political mileage.

Since 1997 reforms was suggested to ease the tensions ,now you are suggesting the PPP shouldn't concede .Probably your desire for more innocent lives snuffed out.

Prezi Irfaan should dump Jagdeo and take control ,the nation will be behind him.

The father of one of the slain boys said on facebook that he doesn't sanction the beating and stripping of innocent people. The man said he live among indians without any issues having born and grew there. Even his slain son had a lot of indian friends. He further said that all he wants is justice for his son and if people wants to protest, do so peacefully without dragging people out of vehicles, stripping, robbing and setting fires.

Naturally, Jango might want proof. But he can see this on facebook.

Saw the video today.

Shiek, why should information be allowed without source ? I mentioned some hints how to get FB source by using the embedded feature from FB post .
