For too long the PPP has been perceived as an Indo party. True, Indos dominate its membership and a significant swath of Amerindians too. That status quo must change. I fully support Jagdeo's pledge of greater inclusion, changing the face of the party, and including more Afro-Guyanese at all levels from PPP groups upwards. I call upon grassroots members and supporters to welcome every Afro who wants to be part of the PPP family.

That said, it is unwise to waste political capital on people who will never cross the fence.

De PPP lost de best opportunity to do that. If dem dey put Luncheon as president Guyana perhaps would be different. Deh juss cyant lift wan cult leader blackman and mek he big. It go tek dankey years foh wan serious blackman/woman wid credibility of Luncheon foh rise to de top. Guyana cyant wait dat long.

If BJ and the PPP believe in what they say, why didn’t he and the Party do that while they were in power during his tenure and prior to 2015?

I am not against inclusivity of all races, at all levels, in all agencies, in every Ministry, etc in the Government. It must be based on their qualifications rather than which party they belong to. It is their country and their faces must be reflected and represented everywhere in Government. Including more criminals with East Indians blood on their hands from the House of Israel into the PPP and putting them in top positions in Government is what I detest.

BJ is striking while the iron is hot. He is hollering for Blackman until he gets the votes and then shoves a stick up their asses. It's going to be a coolie party all over again. If the PPP ought to win, he needs Blackman, Buckman, and Douglas to support him. Coolie drunks don't go out and vote. Plus, he must show inclusiveness to satisfy big brothers.
