Aussie Test match taken away from Guyana? Bad start by Ramotar

It's now rumored that the Test match between WI and Australia in April will be taken away from Guyana given to Dominica.

Last Saturday, the WICB moved the 2 regional matches Guyana would have hosted next month, to Dominica due to the foot dragging by the Guyana Govt.

The incompetent Govt officials couldnt resolve the IMC and GCB fiasco. I hope the rumor isnt true because $$Millions will be lost to the economy...A bad reflection of Ramotar.

Who wants to see a deadbeat WI play in Guyana ? Where are good players like Gayle and Sarwan ?

WI management needs a revamp and Guyana can then host games again. Until then, who cares.

ICC slams Guyana Govt intervention.

"In condemning this [Guyana]government intervention in the strongest possible terms, the ICC Board reaffirmed the principle of non-interference and that the only legitimate cricketing authority is that recognized by the West Indies Cricket Board"

It is very likely that the Test match against Australia in April will be taken away from Guyana.

Rumours became facts. The WICB took away the 3rd Test. I am sure hundreds who had made plans to visit to see the match are cancelling travel plans. The Guyana economy will lose $$MILLIONS.
