With a recount of the votes from the March 2nd general elections approaching the end and the PPP/C maintaining a significant lead (see other story on page 3), the incumbent APNU+AFC  last night made its strongest signal yet that it was preparing to reject the final result after making a series of claims that have been widely repulsed.

Despite President David Granger having said repeatedly that he will accept the declaration of the Chairman of the Guyana Elections Commission, the coalition seems to be going in a different direction despite having declared victory in March just days after the elections.

“The APNU+AFC has been exposing evidence of electoral fraud perpetrated on this country by the PPP/C. We will continue to do so during this recount exercise. The APNU+AFC wishes to make it clear that President Granger and the Leader of the opposition agreed to a recount, the aim of which was to ensure that the results of this election can be deemed credible.

How can't the elections be credible when the international observers said it was credible? How can it not be credible when even Granger said "he had not received a single complaint at all the polling stations he visited"?

Is this one of Fugly Amna Ally jumbie stories? AW laad! Wah rang wide dem peeple dis????

When dem boys use to go to small school, dem learn de story of de Pied Piper of Hamelin.
De town of Hamelin was full of rats. Dem people there had no clue how to fix de problem.
Dem try all kind ah tings but de rats get more plenty.
So when de Pied Piper tun up and seh he gon get rid of the rats for a fee, de town readily agreed.
De story goes that de Piper mek some strange set of sounds on he pipe and de rats start to come to he.
Still playing de pipe, de Piper led de rats to the river wheh deh all drown.
But de town refuse to pay de Piper and he punish dem.
Hamelin gat its legend of the Pied Piper and Guyana gat its legend too.
It gat a man who play wan harmonica. But instead of rats following he around, de man raise de dead from de cemetery.
Dead people following de man around. De man seh how is dem dead people who vote.
But he na seh who dem vote fuh. But if dem following he around, why dem gon vote fuh somebody else?
Dem boys hear dat dem jumbie decide dem nah wan go back in cemetery. So de man wha playing de harmonica now gat 86,000 jumbie following he around.
De man with de harmonica is nat de only one seeing spirits.
It look like de Kranicle deh in pon dis jumbie politics. When dem boys see de Kranicle front page yesterday, dem had to ask if Souja Bai concede de election.
De Kranicle like dem run out of jumbie story.
Dem boys seh dat de Kranicle might gat to hire somebody fuh help bring back jumbie story.
Talk half and wait fuh see whether Claw-dette gon tek de wuk.

The situation in Guyana will end in a civil war. There is no going back and BJ and the opposition will not roll over. If anyone thinks so they are mistaken. They have the international community on their side so go for it.  If there ever was a time, this is it!

At this stage APNU/AFC needs to pass the 13,000 votes and gain 7 000 more making that a total of 20,000 votes. The 300 boxes to be count is  Traditionally from PPPC strong hold... Brace yo self.

The APNU+AFC objected to serial number #164 in box 4585 of division number 414112D on the grounds that the voter is deceased and could not have voted. The voter is Richard Raghunandan who is alive and well and is a sitting Councillor on the Industry/Plaisance NDC.

108 Ballots were rejected for want of the official mark ( no six digit stamp)
102 of those Ballots are PPP votes.

APNU protested for 61 rejected ballots at Sophia Nursery School.

No one is protesting now, where is the consistency.

No one would but the PNC created the circumstance.  Who the hell wants it, but now is the time. After that break the country into three semi autonomous regions, Berbice, Demerara and Essequibo.  Form a lose federation as a step in the direction of partition!

Both political party are guilty . Your last sentence is tripe .Subscribing to such  thinking ,the East Indians should have returned when their indenture ship period ended. Many East Indians are living in the Caribbean Islands ,i am sure they don't subscribe to such mentality.

Indians should not accept another era of PNC Apartheid, then they accept being exterminated by various means. Jagdeo himself said if the PNC is allowed to steal this is such broad daylight, it’s the end of democracy in Guyana.  He knows what he has to do.

Take a hike. PNC rigged for two decades and destroyed Guyana. Now they onto the same tune.  No one says any party is without flaws, but the unforgivable flaw is to not accept the will of the people!

And that is solely a PNC attribute.  Twist it how you want, that’s an incontrovertible fact.

This speaks volume of your warped mentality. Many of us owe our birthing and education to black Midwives and Teachers.

Does your Foundation exclude blacks in Guyana as per your constitution?

Breaking....President Granger minutes ago said that whatever results come from the chairman of the Elections Commission will be accepted as legitimate and in accordance with the constitution..He clearly pointed out that he speaks as President and on behalf of his Government..The president spoke to the press at the Aquatic centre opposite the Recount Centre following a brief visit to the facility..

If you think the recordings with the Mingo inflated boxes were terrible. These two Plaisance boxes 4587 and 4591 were inflated by 80 and 70 votes respectively. We are expecting some SoRs later today and tomorrow that will expose his inflation as high as 100, 110 and over 200 votes per box

For this to happen in Region 3, then the PPP/C must have rigged the election.

But when the Apnu+Afc were fabricating themselves as winners by using Mingo as a pawn, the election was not fraudulent.

Hope Claudette uses the result from the recount and declare the winner and let everything else be dealt with by post election petition.

Senior Superintendent Ewart Wray, the functional head of the Immigration Depratment is very close to Winston Felix. Wray facilitated Felix's Haitian smuggling operation by ensuring their smooth entry to the country and providing passports.
He is also a favourite of the APNU+AFC. He was promoted to Senior Superintendent in September last year and was one of only 3 persons who were promoted at that time.
This made many ranks upset as Wray's corrupt dealings are well known. He is involved in the selling of passports to Chinese and human trafficking. Ironically, Wray fathered a child with Inspector Castello, the rank in charge of the human trafficking unit at CID HQ.
Castello was fingered in several corrupt practices in the Human Trafficking Department but was still promoted to Inspector because of Wray.
Wray's son was Elton Wray who was killed when he attempted to rob Republic Bank on Water Street along with several others.

So it is easy to understand how Wray did the bidding of his masters in the APNU+AFC in regards to the concocted list of persons whom the coalition falsely claim left the country before the elections and could not have voted
