Guyana Unity in colours.

46% green + 5 % yellow does not equate to "Unity Colors"

God forbid, what you might  say if the  caps were yellow and green.

Most caps we distribute in Guyana and other countries are red, because they also represent Canada colours. It is not political, but a decision by our source.

At one time you were a positive person, what changed ?

Is PPP in government the only solution for Guyana ? How do we acknowledge all races in a government ?

APNU+AFC going RED

Prime Minister Special Assistant and RDC Counsellor Mr.Gobin Harbhajan and myself donated a number of caps to pupils attached to Alness Primary, Leeds Primary and #56 Primary School along the Corentyne Coast.

Priya and Gail gonna see red on this. Did they get permission from the PPP to use their red color?

You missed the point!!  It's about the PNC/AFC not merely the colors!!  PNC/AFC does not represent unity when they openly discriminate against a whole section of society!!

Base, did you not attend this meeting?

Quality time with family is so important. Monday is our family day holiday.

It would be nice to keep family day the same in all provinces, so people can travel on a long weekend. It might make more sense, because after all, its a family day.

This one is for Gail. Yes, it does come in sizes for the overweight.

You couldn't find a size for Amna heh? Anyway, see if you can find size "ALL". It might fit her, else they have to join 2 together.

It's Gail and Priya who wants to debate the proliferation of the APNU+AFC green and yellow colors taking over Guyana. Dem were brought up to see only red.

Anyway, no problem. This Kamchipuram Saaree would work for the APNU+AFC Ladies.

I love the colours green and yellow.  Let us paint all government building GREEN and YELLOW.

I remember how Government buildings and houses used to be painted yellow and the roofs green and sometimes red.

Look at Buddy's.

In the colonial days government buildings --- police stations, schools, hospitals etc --- were painted yellow.

Oh ok I guess it could be argued that cream is a shade of yellow.

Is it true, the government is offering free green and yellow paint to citizens in the city to repaint their properties to commemorate the 50th anniversary. Thanks to the APNU/AFC coalition. Warrior should request some to paint his cottage.

This Brother was author of THE GREEN BOOK. A Lybian citizen punctured his derriere with a dagger and his pants seat turned RED.

Are we looking ahead at what Granger and Moses would look like in one year. Idi & Kadi.

The color debate took center stage on the 2016 budget presentation in parliament and it sounded colorful, but is didn't addressed the daunting question that's on everyone's mind. I believe the National Assembly is there to address various concerns of the citizens of the Guyana, but it's a different time and I may be mistaken.

Get off Mitwah's back, you both. As the saying goes, once a man twice a child. I have my childish moments too. Too much seriousness leads to heart problems; I paid dearly to learn that.

Sorry to hear that my friend. Life is too short to take everything seriously. Hope all is well.

Not seriousness but stress. GNI will not give someone heart attack. To me this site is comic relief.

From the words of Ralph Ramkarran:

"Political longevity can be another outcome. There is Hamilton Green, a now venerated political icon, who wears only green clothes, writes with green ink and drives green coloured vehicles. It is rumoured that he skirts around concrete and bitumen surfaces and walks only on green grass wherever possible. Hammie’s lifetime popularizing the colour green has paid dividends.

Starting out as a boy politician in the notorious, convulsive, 1960s, from which he gained an enduring reputation, he rose to become Prime Minister. Kicked out of the PNC by Desmond Hoyte, Hammie rode the colour green in his party, “A Good and Green Guyana,” to become Mayor in 1994. So effective has been his exploitation of the colour green that Hammie is still the Mayor today. All of this evidence shows that the PPP is quite in order to view the use of green and yellow as an insidious and sinister portent."
