In the wake of Paris terror attack, US lawmakers tend to forget the first amendments right of the Constitution to say only Christian refugees should be accepted in the United States, but Muslims should
NOT. Only recently, half of the country's Governors are against accepting Syrian refugees, assumieably they are mostly Muslim. One of our GNI resident (namely yuji) was uncomfortable that Canada will accept 10,000 refugees and present 10,000 fear monger Canadians with an Allah-O-Akbar neighbor.
Americans survived 9/11 and people learned a great lesson in religious tolerance to relive their lives in fear as though everything they were taught went in vein.
I am beginning to feel ashamed of this great nation to stoop that low in time of a human crisis. These refugees could be your mother, father or siblings without a country, and begging the world to accept them. Instead, they're being labeled as terrorists.
This world is not perfect and it will never be perfect. There will always be good and bad in every corner of society, but that should Not give the world reasons to gave up hope on the greatest nation on earth, by the action of a few religious intolerance politicians.
