Saying that Guyana has not progressed and calling it a “donkey cart” economy. All who live in Guyana and have visited Guyana recently know that there is progress in Guyana. Could it have been better? Hell yeah!!! But the AFC hitching its wagon to the “donkey cart” economy statement made some people not take them seriously and see it as the same ole’; just playing politics.

I believe that instead of hitching to the Donkey cart wagon statement they instead should have focused more on corruption and spend more energy on gathering the hard evidence because it is available.

They should have also focused on what was achieved and how much better it should have been – exposing really how little was achieved in 19 yrs - and provide the data to back this up because that is also easy to accumulate.

I now consider myself an AFC supporter, but, an objective one. However, going by what is posted on here, many overseas AFC supporters seem to think that Guyanese voters are uneducated and unsophisticated, this I believe is a grave mistake and an insult.

Another mistake being made now is the statement made by TK on this forum; Christian Indo voters prefer the AFC. Is this implying that some non-Christian indo voters do not know any better? Here is the quote:
quote:
A larger percentage of East Indians will vote for the AFC this time. I am convinced of this. In particular the Christian Indians

I think this statement needs clarification, because in Guyana and the Diaspora Indo Christians see themselves as superior to non-Christian Indos and the non-Christians do not take kindly to this, it is a very sensitive issue. And I do not mean superior in a religious sense, but in an general sophisticated sense, an aloofness so to speak.

I am personally disappointed that TK has made this statement, it is something I can do because I am not a politician and do not give a shit. But not TK. Clarify this statement TK.

Summary:
Denying there has been some progress in Guyana – this offends some Guyanese and makes them not take the AFC seriously

Making irresponsible statements like the one above

TK should have been off this site and have someone else do the posting – you are no longer any ordinary person once you throw your hat in the ring, it displays a lack of professionalism.

However, I do believe that the AFC has made strides in Guyana, the hope is that they build on this for the next elections in 2016, this is not a sprint. In future say all the right things and do all the right things. The PPP is self destructive and the AFC should not need to do too much to unseat them in the next elections; just stay professional, focus on real issues and deal in facts.

Policrook, stop make excuses for this lame party.

As much as I don't like the Ppp , I CAN tell you they remain civil in the campaiging, compared to some of these retarded AFC supporters on Gni. TOLA, warrior to name a few. How is PPp a self destructive party? were you in your right mind, when you came up with that conclusion?

the AFC are making strides..they havea realisitic chance of winning the next elections as long as they keep at it..

The PPP are civil because they have to be...if they had the unequivocal support of the security forces they would not be civil.....

see what cain said of the PPP supporters on here..Mike, Nehru, Rama, Drugb are some of the worse on here....

I KNOW for a fact that many Christian Indians in Guyana will vote for the AFC.

This in no way should be taken that Hindu/Mulsim Indians will not vote for the AFC in large numbers also. However, the former group has been more vocal in their public support for the AFC.

Because of victimization and fear of retribution many Indians will wait until the 28th to make their voices heard. I will not be surprised if the AFC wins.

I will be surprised if the PPP scrapes home with over 50% of the votes.

Politik is a closet PPP. All his ramblings and rantings are circular arguments. The ass was giving TK advice the other day Big Grin
