The AFC ran out of ammunition against the PPP, but by hook or crook, the overseas base is trying their best to come up with the worst. We're aware of your intention, but it wouldn't work. Moses and the AFC inquiry on pirated books is another waste of time and taxpayer's money. Let me tell you why! China is the biggest producer of pirated products, and America's homes are full with them. America is China's black market capital of the world. I want to see how Moses will crack this turtle back. I'll give Moses and the AFC until December 2012 to see how things are shaping for them. When you people want to fart, make sure it doesn't get blown back in your faces.

AFC/APNU joint effort to bring all inquiries to light has proven futile so far and that my definition of talking hot air from your ass.  In spite of their failure, they're hoping to pass more hot air by accusing the government of buying text books at bargain prices. Ramjattan and his cronies ever attended an economic school before?

Moses is a SHAMELESS, DISGRACEFUL man. Any inquiry on who Paid for his Law degree and his Children's Education????

Nehru

Or Moses cashed NICIL cheques.

It is quite apparent that the AFC is using outlets like GNI to spread their lies. It is now become annoying to read their constant nonsense.

Guyanese are now calling the AFC, the dead news party of Guyana.

Not one single post of anything positive. Or the AFC recognizing any positive development in Guyana. People are fed up with these guys. The need a major rebranding of their party and strategy.

An evil party like the AFC sees evil everywhere. Period.

The point being that China has not officially asserted the right to pirate products. It is in fact doing better to enforce laws now its products are subject to sanctions. India has began to crack down on illegal drug makers since they ruin the reputation of legitimate manufacturers. Stealing is stealing and the PPP wants to make it official.

Note these are the crooks who to this day claim the meet all the rules of transparency with NICIL when the company remains a blackbox and we see its leakage with accumulations of once state property in the hands of PPP cronies.

NICIL is an entity that is used by the PPP to transform state assets into private holdings of cronies so it can never leave the arena of public discussion on corruption.

The pirated text is not an issue brought up by anyone. It is a practice introduced as normal by a corrupt government.

AFC calls for probe into textbooks orders

September 20, 2012 | By | Filed Under News          Govt.’s stance tantamount to telling Guyanese to steal

The fallout from Government’s admission that it authorized hundreds of millions of dollars in purchases of photocopied textbooks is continuing.
Yesterday, Alliance For Change (AFC) Parliamentarian and Executive Member, Moses Nagamootoo, called for a probe. He said that it is a clear case of Government openly encouraging Guyanese to steal.

Are you simply a twit or do you grasp that propriety demands one question an illegal thing being introduced as normal?

FM

it is illegal to steal ie appropriate what is not legally yours for the taking and conscript it to personal use.

I do not have to go and check what is copyright infringement. The company from whom the theft is on going called it that. They get no money for the use of their intellectual property and it's use is not with their permission. If you steal it obviously comes with cost benefits. That is why it is called stealing.....taking what is not for one to take and not paying the asking price. If  you buy stolen property knowingly as in this instance it is theft.
