Why? They call me a "PNC". They want me to tell them all is OK. I dont need to be any body's amen chorus.

Sometimes people on the outside see things that those on the inside dont. If those on the inside think they know every thing all power to them.

[Continue to fool yourself. I see you are already willing to blame Guyanese because the refuse to respond to two failed parties and a third who is showing themselves to be amateurs by making rudimentary campaign mistakes. Neglecting one's base is never a good idea.

Its not that Guyanese get teh govt taht teh desrve its that many have come to the conclusion that none of teh alternatives make any sense to them. Saying the right thing but having little capacity to implement is as bad as just being plain wrong.

Its not what I think they should vote for. Its what indications are that they will do based upon their perception of how the 3 parties are behaving.

Indications are this election season is a snore. Many didnt vote last time. Even more will not vote this time. The parties involved have their own selves to blame. They have failed to show the public that they are relevant in helping create an environment where the people can improve their lives.

Guyanese have bene disappointed for over 50 years and seem to have given up in expecting anything from their politicians.

so carib...if the political parties that are running for office are so...incompetent, then who is really capable of running Guyana.

Should we divide Guyana? Let Venezuela take Essequibo? Let Suriname take Berbice? Should we appeal to the US or UK to run the country? Go back to the colonial days?

What should we do?

What should we do?

The parties need to fix themselves or others need to replace the leaders, or the parties.

The people are tired of them.

Why should outside powers want to colonize Guyana? Aside from France no one wants the head ache of running colonies, and even France pretends that they are "integral" parts of France.
