There is no need to take such a dim view of the political landscape in Guyana. We just have to look at Suriname, where fresh elections are also due on the 25th. You don't hear ppl talking there about voting based upon race. Those days are long gone. Now the ppl want results, not racists.

The PPP played the race card to cling on to power. But at this election many Indians voted for the coalition. What has the PPP done exactly to improve the life of the average East Indian, let alone anyone else? Absolutely nothing. Only those with direct connection to the regime were allowed to benefit from the corruption.

A good analysis Mr. T.  My point is : Our contribution to help build Guyana.

I know yours and many of us overseas are in position to make that country great again.

Similar to negativism, I  believe positive attitudes grow and contribute to healthy conditions. The youth needs better leadership.

I believe the sincerity of Mr. Granger and Mr. Nagamootoo, including their team, will take Guyana in a positive direction, but they will need our help to make it happen.
