APNU scored a major victory by announcing during the budget speech that they will be allocation a substantial amount for combatting crime.

I was critical of them during the recent crime wave and rightfully so since they are the elected government responsible for the security of the nation. APNU proved me wrong and I am not in any way upset.

I call a spade a spade and APNU hit the ball out of the park with this one.

My only concern is Ramjattan and his lack of communication with the public. He needs to be more in the public eyes and at least communicating more with them.

I give credit where credit is due and let me tip my hat to President Granger on this.

I have other concerns but will keep them for another day. Today is APNU's day.

Yuji, they allocated billions from the budget for the security sector with incompetent management like Ramjattan. This doesn't mean crime will disappear next week. They also talking about international assistance. Grainger blew Britain's funding for fighting crime in Guyana. Nothing about the DEA office in Guyana. This government is leading from behind.

Correct, a budget document means little.  PNC is not known to deploy in reality s they do on paper.  Give it some time and we see if that have learned anything after 23 years.
