I would advise against messing with Stormy. He does stand on the side of right.

Just try waking him up. He's been missing for a while. I know he's been on the right side lately. Kudos to him.

My guess is that he is awake. He likes the LPJ interest in the next elections and my guess is that he is currently assessing Shuman's thought process. In the end, he will determine if it is a good move or not. I am surprised that Shuman seeking to differentiate himself from the leaders of the two major parties would from the onset seek to integrate with either of those two parties.

I think Shuman is making the same mistake that the UF and AFC did. I think Granger realizes that AFC has no support from the coolies and they will be a dead albatross hung around the PNC neck. PNC is ready to get rid of them if, he gets a solid yes from Shuman. However, he knows that the Native Indians are a force to be reckoned with and he is trying to draw some votes from them.

The difference is that the UF and AFC spent time cutting their teeth first. It seems that Shuman is not interesting in any initial work to quantify his party's worth.

I wonder how Moses and Rumboy feel now that Granger has entertained Shuman and his LJP? I bet helpless knowing they are being thrown to the dogs, and they deserve it.

My guess is that this is not a shock to them. My guess is that Harmon has been buggering those two since May 2015 so the are fully award that they are no more than Harmon's bugger batties.

They probably feel like a broken calabash.

Shuman may have figured out that he is getting Stormy' vote, D2's vote and his village vote.  How many votes do you think that is. 500 tops.  He has to ally himself with a much more organized force which is the PNC or else his party is dead in the water.  Burnham was able to break away from the PPP because he was able to use the organizational capacities at the ground level that was built by the league of colored people and the trade union networks developed by Critchlow in the past.

Perhaps you are way into lalala land with that statement.

I am just stating what the historical literature is telling me.  That is why people like Rawle Findley and John Carter of the League of Colored people allied with Burnham after he left the PPP. But seeing that you were Burnham's hydroseed engineer plus you and him may be responsible for the rotten out of millions of US dollars worth of equipment in the jungles of Guyana.  Then you probably know different.
