It is a marketing tool for continuous income stream. I would not subscribe. I hate these subscription services ie cable and mobile services. They nickle and dime you to death as soon as they have their tentacles in you. Soon we will have a premium on color and kinds of laces and how much padding and what style. In time you will be owing nike a few hundred dollars extra than if you had gone to K-mart....is there still a K-mart?

Nike announced Monday that it is debuting Nike Adventure Club, a sneaker subscription for kids ages two through 10. Nike will offer parents three options for their kids: four pairs of sneakers a year for $20 a month, six pairs for $30 a month or 12 pairs for $50 a month. Parents and kids will be able to choose from a selection of around 100 sneakers.

If you have a couple kids, this could work out

your kid will get killed going to school in these. Nike is marketing 600 pairs to the same demographics. Even the poor kids will demand them from their parents.
