As long a Jagdeo has a strong influence on the CC and who is 'chosen', he will also have a strong  influence, if the PPP  is the government again.

I will not even vote  for OTHER, because whom even is chosen,  Jagdeo will still be the controller and like Ramotar as president, that person will be a puppet.

Jagdeo will make himself stay, so the status quo will remain in the PPP.

Hey hey.  BJ is the new Grand Ayatollah! Suh Tek duh🙄!

BJ will be different if given the chance again.  The loss shook him and the whole PPP group into realizing the value of the people.

Me hope so, because some Berbice people needs a lot of lifting up to regain Jagdeo's government  and past regional officers confidence.

Too Late! Too Late! Shall be the cry!

Me know some Berbice people who are scared to give them another chance, but time will tell.

One of my cousins in Guyana met him and was pleasantly surprised at how he sees things. He will do things differently.

But you are correct, confidence needs to restored.  I chat with Berbicians and, yes you are correct.  Unfortunately the PNC has instilled even less confidence, even in their own base!

Well, PNC made it easy!  The current PNC is the best friend the PPP could have asked for!

This is what I don't understand. NOW they realize the value of the people? Why will he now do things differently if he was so perfect before? Why fix something that wasn't broken. If in fact it was broken and he's going to fix it now, how come no one else is afforded the same privilege? Why is no one else allowed to make mistakes so a few years down the line they can get a sudden epiphany?

Look, I said the same.  But thus far, the PNC has been a bit of a disaster.  Weak and adrift!  They have done little to nothing for the people!

I have my apprehension too, but look at the PNC!   Take your pick.  The PNC should have been given two terms.  Unless they can turn themselves around, they will lose!

Hit the nail on the head. The PPP is not for me as a black man. Regardless of how inept the PNC is, the PPP will be worse for black people. For starters, Jagdeo, who in my opinion is a calcified racist, will be running tings just like he did with fat Don. So voting for the PPP is voting for Jagdeo.

Secondly, Jagdeo is emboldened now with the win at LGE and this miscue by Lawrence. See the no confidence he filed. Him at the helm (and HE will be running things) will be the nail in the coffin for Afro Guyanese this time around. He thinks we have no alternative, no respite. He'll be coming at black people for the kill. Not buying what "baseman" saying that Jagdeo is somehow "reformed".

The PNC is listless, led by a listless man even prior to him getting ill. Uninspiring. However, we have seen, however little, some good things from the coalition.

a. The LGE was free and fair. All the hot air blown by cow shit eating bramins and like minded PPP sycophants about "rigging and frigging" and all the consternation about po old Patterson the GECOM man was all fraff. The election was properly conducted. Alyuh (not you GTA) remember that and stop talking shit about rigging. Patterson is owed an apology but he's an old black man, suh not gonna happen.

b. The crime and money laundering is down. Today we see drug busts on a scale never seen before. Criminals being rounded up with no regard for race. Remember dat.

c. Corruption and appearances of corruption being addressed. See the Demerara bridge contract with Patterson etc. No special privileges shown to anyone.

Small progress, but progress nonetheless. Who would think it would be the PNC led coalition that would address corruption, drugs and money laundering and hold free and fair LGE????? Not all the hot air spewing "experts" hay.

I favor the coalition with new leadership. There has to be someone young in that group who can inspire and motivate.
