The Cummingsburg Accord says that the President must come from the PNC.  Moses is not a PNC man.

Cummingsburg Accord is NOT THE LAW of Guyana. It is strictly a private agreement between the PNCR and AFC for personal and internal issues.

According to the laws of Guyana; should David Granger transition in life; Moses Nagamootoo will immediately become President of Guyana.

It will however happen that; perhaps within six months; a PNCR member will become President and Nagamootoo revert to Prime Minister.

So then the coalition govt is null and void.  The structure of the current government was based on the Cummingsburg Accord.

Dial the life line, for help "Does Cummingsburg Accord conflicts with the Constitution ? " while on the line ask if  "the coalition govt is null and void"

Instead of sounding foolish, read the Constitution on Elections in Guyana.

... structure of the current government ...

Structure/composition of ministers is a personal matter between the parties in the Government; united as an entity before the election.

Again ... Cummingsburg Accord absolutely has no bearing nor connection with the constitution of Guyana.

You think if he kick the bucket his wife should take over?

Only dear comrade Janet could do that and get off, friend. Sandra has to abide by the Constitution and vacate State House for Nehru's buddy Moses Nagamootoo.

True. The Cummingsburg Accord also says the Prime Minister must chair Cabinet meetings but the President hijacked that function from C-meeting #1, asserting that the Constitution takes precedence over the Accord.

i suggest that you 2 take a couple of deep breaths and read the Burnham constitution carefully where it addresses the [outside of elections] 'succession' question

What's the number for the lifeline, I want to make a call.  And BTW, how come you didn't know the President is back in Guyana and supposedly doing quite well healthwise.  Politically, whole different story though.

the accord is an agreement between the two parties. It is not law They can break it. It does not prescribe the legitimacy of coalitions that is a constitutional pejorative. Of course the constitution itself is a fraud so there.

Better yet; why did he not go to the Public Hospital Georgetown ??

I was speaking with respect to efficacy of treatment. If you are inclined to be sarcastic so be it. We all know the hospital is ill equipped for most advanced diagnostic or surgical needs. By brother died from a lack of reliable dialysis machines.

Not everything can be discussed publicly. I started feeling sorry for him when I heard news recently about why he's been so lowkey, looking so unwell, etc. God be with Guyana, our dear Guyana needs lots of prayers.

Sounds like an ominous prognosis. Hope not.

I meant his state of mind and the things he's grieving about.
