Everything I say on this board can be substantiated.  The killings of Indo-Guyanese by criminals based in Buxton is not a lie. The whole of Guyana knows Hoyte's call for Mo Fiah Slow Fiah is no fabrication by the PPP.

Yawari man aka, D2 wrote quite alot during the killings on the East Coast. You were on the side of the PPP.  I re-called you made a statement that the AFro-criminals are criminals only when they are at large. When they are caught and killed by police their status automatically change to "AFrican Young men".  I can only paraphrase what you said years ago. I used to admire your debates with Bonus and Nuff. But I have to say that over years you like many others in Guyana and the overseas have mysteriously degenerated in political beings worthy of nothing.  I don't care how educated you maybe. If you don't stand for what is right I have no respect for you. We know of many smarter than you who have prostituted themselves for advancement and they experienced ostracism from their own. You Mr. D2, who endured the racial and prejudicial attacks from PNCites on this forum more than a decade ago have now become part of a group of insidious people.  It seems that you have lost your morals, your way in the world. If there are hypocrites on this forum and i think you stand head and shoulders above them all.

T, I understand what you're saying. Curry is a generic term covering a multitude of spice combinations some not even having curry leaves. Indian curries and Guyanese curries are very different. However, and I spoke with a couple of my Indian co-workers, you can purchase basic curry powders in India. The Indian grocery stores and West Indian grocery stores also carry curry powders made in India. One of the Indian brands my father told me he remembered from Guyana. Chetty I think it was. By the way, I am not real Indian. I am real GUYANESE.

Hoyte is on record to say Slow Fyaah Mo Fyaah...  out the window with your make up story.. bun out

Now that the trial of the Bartica Massacre 5 has finally started, your Eyewitness was forced to revisit those gory days. It escalated with the Mashramani Jail Breakout in 2002 and finally ended with Fineman and the remnants of his gang dying in a blaze of gunfire in August 2008. Those were no days of wine and roses – but six long years during which many thought we’d end up like those “Banana Republics” we used to snicker at!
But we still don’t really know who was behind it all, do we? The fire began building slowly after the 1997 elections and picked up steam during the PNC protests demanding a “forensic audit” of the election results. But when the audits showed there was nothing wrong electorally – the protests still forced Janet Jagan from the presidency. Plus a complete overhaul of the Constitution – including a reduction of the powers of the Burnhamite Presidency.
But this simply encouraged Hoyte to launch his infamous “slow fyaahâ€Ķmo’ fyaah” strategy, which segued into the jailbreak. So, the Bartica Massacre – 12 dead, along with the Lusignan Massacre – 11 dead and the Lindo Creek Massacre – 8 dead, all in 2008 were really all part of a violent uprising to oust the PPP since the beginning of 1998.
Blackie London, the notorious bandit, killed in 2000, begat Andrew Douglas, a member of his gang as the leader of the Jailbreak 5 and he in turn begat Fineman Rawlins, a member of HIS gang, as his successor. It was a decade of war against the State through terroristic acts against the civilian populace as well as the Guyana Police Force. In that decade, more police died under fire than in the entire 180-year history of the Force. Three policemen died at Bartica.
So the trial of the accused in the Bartica Massacre isn’t just about justice for the dead of Bartica, but for all Guyana. A state is created by the citizens for their protection and when that state comes under attack, all the people of the country are under fire. If for nothing else that if the state falls, anarchy reigns and the law of the jungle becomes the norm. The charge of “terrorism” that the gunmen face is particularly important, since this was the modus operandi of the gunmen from the moment they started their “operations” from within the village of Buxton.
Our law against terrorism was hurriedly crafted and passed during the onslaught against the State and described its fundamental characteristic: the use of violence against innocent citizens simply to make a political statement against the State.
Who was it that said, “Bun dem”??

â€Ķagainst making the law an ass
This Minister of Communities, Ronald Bulkan, is something else. After a year of closing his eyes to the blatant dictatorial actions of the Georgetown Town Clerk, who is under his Ministry, he finally wrote a letter patting him on the wrist. And that was thatâ€Ķeven as the highhandedness of King continues.
Anyhow, asked why the Local Government Commission, supposed to replace him in supervising the Town Clerk and suchlike, isn’t in place – and the PPP has nominated its three members – this is the best Bulkan could do. He quoted Section 4 (1) (b) of the Local Government Commission Act of 2013: “the Local Government Commission shall include, “three members appointed by the President acting on Advice of Leader of the Opposition after consultation with other Parliamentary parties.”
Then said he’s waiting on the PPP to consult with “other parliamentary parties”. But haven’t the “other parliamentary parties” formed the government and should’ve nominated THEIR four members? !!
Is this guy for real??

â€Ķand disasters
Yesterday was “International Day for Disaster Reduction”. We suggest that Guyana’s contribution should be for the Government to remove the entire lot it’s placed in charge of Agriculture.
And since, like with fishes, institutions start stinking at the headâ€Ķlet’s start there!

And to add to your idiocy.  If the PNC officials were connected to violence why didn't the PPP bring them up on charges?  Had the PPP been able to prove that the PNC was connected to this level of violence, and not criminal gangs acting on their own volition, the PNC would have been destroyed.  So why didn't the PPP do this?

I will suggest to you that you are a fraud when you scream about what one side did and not the other.

For the LAST TIME Desmond Hoyte was NOT alive when the violence of the 2002-2008 period occurred.   Regardless as to which criminals who he hung out with the one who you cite was also quite dead during that period.

Anyway you are the chair of the Indo KKK (Guyana) chapter so are welcome to pour out your vitriol about blacks.

And btw the criminal who was Jagdeo's best friend was connected to one of the Colombian drug cartels, not just some petty hoodlum.

RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Section 1 Respect for the Integrity of the Person, Including Freedom From:

a. Political and Other Extrajudicial Killing

The police continued to commit extrajudicial killings. The Guyana Human Rights Association (GHRA) reported that the police killed 13 civilians during the year, compared with 9 in 1999, 11 in 1998, and 27 in 1997. In most cases, the police shot the victims while attempting to arrest them or while a crime was being committed.

The GHRA also expressed concern about the death in custody of Shawn "Big Bird" Nedd, who reportedly was shot and killed on February 7 by police after being arrested, while being held in a vehicle of the "Quick Reaction Squad." Eusi Kwayana of the Working People's Alliance political party filed a private criminal charge against a police constable for Nedd's death. In July the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) dismissed the case.

On February 9, police shot and killed criminal fugitive Linden "Blackie" London, a former army officer wanted for 4 murders and 14 robberies. Television cameras recorded a police officer shooting London as he appeared to surrender to the GDF. The manner of London's death led to speculation that he was executed to prevent him from revealing details of criminal connections within the Government or the security services. Several thousand persons attended London's funeral on February 16, including former President Desmond Hoyte, who publicly condemned extrajudicial killings by police."

Dave,

Question for you,do think Desmond Hoyte attended the funeral because of the extrajudicial killing by the police and the speculations of criminal connections by the then Government.

Dave,

Question for you,do think Desmond Hoyte attended the funeral because of the extrajudicial killing by the police and the speculations of criminal connections by the then Government.

Speculation that his killing was done by PPP government was done by PNC members to divert the real attention. Guyanese were  ( majority been Indians) were slaughter by these criminals.

Congress place was running low on funds to survive, hence the use of these criminals to cause riots and topple the PPP government, in the process the criminals need $ and so is Congress Place.

Phantom squad came in after the Police and army were unable to solve the crime situation. There were cry’s from local businesses to bring foreign troop, but the Phantom use and finance by businesses who were associated with the underground world. They inturn brought in the Columbia’s and Sislian.

The criminals were operating out of Buxton - their safe heaven, majority of crimes were committed by blacks, hence the killing was justified for the brutality done on Indians, many bodies that were kidnap were never recover and were fear buried and burn in pits dug at the back of Buxton.

Desmond show up in solidarity with PNC members, but black people wants to put a blacket on the injustice done to Indians and would try to be the victim crying for  sympathy.
