Bibi, quite frankly, I do not know what you are saying. So here is a simple question. Do you approve the approach and execution of the Immigration Law trump signed on Friday???

Of course I do.  Of those 12 people detained yesterday, one was trying to enter the country without a visa and had to be deported.  Of the flights that came in yesterday, there were more than 500 Muslims, only 12 were detained.  They still have 6 of them under FBI surveillance so something is going on.

Trump cannot sign an immigration law by executive order.  That's Obama's law enforced by executive order.  The Federal Gov't has all jurisdiction over immigration law.

How many of the 9/11 bombers came from the 7 countries where the Orangutan banned refugees from?

This is not Trump's law. These seven countries were selected by the Foreign Relations Committee and the Deoartment of Homeland Security, and passed as law under Obama in 2015.  Trump signed an executive order to enforce the law. This is not Guyana Bai. You want the man get impeached??  The President of the United States cannot make immigration law.

Show me the law that give him the right to ban refugees from selected countries.  Stop posting shit from them redneck sites.

The Department of Homeland Security targeted these seven countries over the last years as countries of concern. In February 2016 “The Department of Homeland Security today announced that it is continuing its implementation of the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015 with the addition of Libya, Somalia, and Yemen as three countries of concern, limiting Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals who have traveled to these countries.” It noted “the three additional countries designated today join Iran, Iraq, Sudan and Syria as countries subject to restrictions for Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals.” It was the US policy under Obama to restrict and target people “who have been present in Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, at any time on or after March 1, 2011 (with limited government/military exceptions).” This was text of the US Customs and Border Protection in 2015 relating to “the Visa Waiver Program and Terrorist Travel Protection Act of 2015“. The link even includes the seven nation list in it: “Iraq, Syria, Iran, SUdan, Somalia or Yemen.”  And the media knew this back in May 2016 when some civil rights groups complained about it. “These restrictions have provoked an outcry from the Iranian-American community, as well as Arab-American and civil-liberties groups, who say the restrictions on dual nationals and certain travelers are discriminatory and could be imposed against American dual nationals.”

It was signed into law on December 18, 2015, as part of the Omnibus Appropriations Act of FY2016.

What? So there was a Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015 two years before Trump? There was a kind of “Muslim ban” before the Muslim ban? But almost no one critiqued it in 2015 because it was Obama’s administration overseeing it.

Did you read the bill?  It's several hundred pages.  I haven't read all of it, but I know Trump did not break the law or the lawyers from the Democrats and immigration groups would be all over him.

The fact that they are protesting and not filing a lawsuit tells me he did not break the law.

It says it all right here:

“The Department of Homeland Security today announced that it is continuing its implementation of the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015 with the addition of Libya, Somalia, and Yemen as three countries of concern, limiting Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals who have traveled to these countries.” It noted “the three additional countries designated today join Iran, Iraq, Sudan and Syria as countries subject to restrictions for Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals.” It was the US policy under Obama to restrict and target people “who have been present in Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, at any time on or after March 1, 2011 (with limited government/military exceptions).”

This is a case where good law falls into evil hands.  It was meant to target TERRORISTS not REFUGEES.

I wouldn't expect anyone to file a lawsuit without having all the necessary facts. That would make them as reckless as Trump. Nonetheless, if there was a complete ban on people from those 7 countries, then all that Right Wing moaning and groaning that Obama was bringing in Syrian refugees and endangering Americans' lives was sheer bs. My guess is that the current hysteria over Muslims is also sheer bs.

Pakistan could be included in Trump’s immigration ban list in future: White House

There is a possibility in the future of including Pakistan in the list of countries from where immigration has been banned, a top White House official indicated on Sunday, acknowledging for the first time that Pakistan was under consideration to be put in that category.

“The reason we chose those seven countries was, those were the seven countries that both the Congress and the Obama administration identified as being the seven countries that were most identifiable with dangerous terrorism taking place in their country,” White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, told CBS News.

I am not going to lie to you.  Burnham reject me and me run like hell.  I went to America to attend university and those were the best days of my life.  I will forever be grateful.

I think many of us did and benefitted from that move. More power to you for making that move a good one for you. Many did not.

i do not know about the US being a dumping ground. Also, as an outsider looking in, I detect a high degree of xenophobia underlying recent events. When leaders of a country are the ones spreading the flames, then we all must speak up or eventually get burnt. Remember the law of unintended consequences.

i might not always agree with you, especially regarding the US, but I respect your right to hold and make those views known.

I am just surprised that any Guyanese think that they are any less susceptible to the same suspicion shown to Muslims especially since those Americans harboring those suspicions are not of the brightest order and wouldn't know the difference between a Muslim or non-Muslim of Guyanese origin.

Ahhh well why not..Pakistan should be added to the list..after all they are much darker than Trump and I do not think he should stop there..he should be reminded many Indians also come from Guyana...nah right Prince.ss?

Where are the Muslim rallies when Muslim killing Americans in the name of Allah?

Where was your cavernous mouth when George Bush and his henchmen were slaughtering millions of Iraqis ....all on the basis of a pack of LIES ? They displayed no mercy; not even for the defenseless, starving children; more than a million of them died before they even knew they were Iraqis ! Were you suffering from Alzheimer's disease at that time or do your prejudice and ignorance disable your minute reasoning capability ? Were you both deaf and dumb when Madeline Albright, when asked to comment on the death of countless Iraqi children, famously said 'it was worth the price' !! Killing in the name of Christianity was acceptable at that time, was it ??

Sparrow was perfectly correct when he said 'where ignorance is bliss, it's folly to be wise' ! Tell the world which Muslim country you have been to and what you observed to justify the rubbish you posted above ! Do you obtain information from National Enquirer ? Similarly, in response to an earlier post that you made I specifically asked you to substantiate an outrageously dishonest statement you made about the Qur'an directing Muslims to kill their children; like a spineless runt, you tucked your tail between your legs and ran away !

From my perspective, idiots of his sort ought to be banned because hate and bigotry should never ever be tolerated.
