Trump is Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Good Mannin Chief. We have a minority president talking about one thing and doing something else. I don't think he is all there. I saw his puppets last night(Ryan and Pence). Every statement Donald made, the 2 fools stood and cheered. I could predict to a T when they will stand up and cheer. They were like programmed robots.

Chief, That is rumor made up by democrats to undermine Trump's nomination as Attorney General. Obama, Hillary, Pokahuntas, and their finding partners are no angels. They organize women's march, but they did nothing for veterans who served this country faithfully. Boy, you is a big ass godywala. Session will be freed from this rumor like many others in the past.

24 million would lose insurance under the G.O.P. health bill within a decade, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office found

Monday, March 13, 2017 4:22 PM EDT

Republicans had been bracing for what was almost certain to be a bleak accounting of the legislation’s projected effects. The American Health Care Act, as Republicans call their bill, was already facing widespread criticism from providers of health care, some conservatives, and a united Democratic Party. The numbers released Monday will only make it more difficult for Republicans to explain why their legislation would bring positive change to the country’s health care system.

Republicans cancel health-care vote as House GOP refuses to vote yes on Ryancare | Crain's New York Business <noscript><img height="1" width="1" style="display:none" src="https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=1493147397381573&ev=PageView&noscript=1" /> <!-- Facebook Pixel: Begin site img overrides --> <!-- no facebook-pixel-custom.pbo for site CN --> <!-- Facebook Pixel: End site img overrides --></noscript> <noscript><img src="http://b.scorecardresearch.com/p?c1=2&c2=16193073&cv=2.0&cj=1" /></noscript>

GOP cancels health care vote as House Republicans balk

House Speaker Paul Ryan called off the vote after meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House

The move is a setback for both Ryan and Trump's ability to deliver on their agendas.

Republicans scrapped a vote on the embattled health-care bill Friday as a growing number of Republicans declared they opposed the latest version just a day after President Donald Trump demanded a do-or-die vote on the longtime GOP priority.

House Speaker Paul Ryan called off the vote after meeting with the president at the White House, according to a senior leadership aide and one Republican lawmaker. They spoke again by phone right before canceling the vote.

The move is an embarrassing setback that casts doubt on Trump and Ryan’s ability to deliver on their ambitious agenda, including taxes and infrastructure, both of which are being closely watched by Wall Street.

Ryan is scheduled to speak to reporters at 4 p.m. Washington time. Ryan declined to comment as he headed into a conference meeting.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index spiked on the news, reversing losses from earlier in the day, and was up 0.1% at 3:43 p.m. in New York.

Trump himself had waded into the legislative weeds to fight for the bill, meeting with scores of lawmakers and traveling to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to address the full House Republican conference. The president "left everything on the field," according to spokesman Sean Spicer.

Top Trump aides told House Republicans Thursday night that the president had run out of patience: he wanted a vote Friday, win or lose, even if that meant leaving Obamacare in place

Trump needs to focus on the economy and come back to the gaps in the ACA, etc later.  He also needs to spend less time on Islamist from abroad and focus on the sleeper cells already in the USA!  The vetting process for migrants could be improved, but it's already robust.

I believe they rush on Obamacare too fast.  In fact, a wholesale repeal of Obamacare is not wise as it did address some critical gaps in the system.  These were pretty evident in the town halls.  However, premiums and deductibles remain too high.

Trump will recover and get things right!  He could be here for eight years, so Chief I would not be overly gleeful!  At the same time, I believe if he focuses on the economy and get things moving, even you will be gleeful for the right reasons!

Most of the things you mention has merit.

What you did not say is what makes you think that he will ever focus on the things that are important.

It is clear as day with his record so far that he is the worse President in recent history.

Chief, relax nuh, it's what, 64 days of eight years!  Trump is having baptism by fire.  He jumped in too quickly.  He needs to be more strategic.  Focus on the economy and get it moving.  When he does this, he can loop back to social engineering!

Kennedy screwed up Bay of Pigs costing lots of human lives in his first 100 days.  Trump is going though the storming phase and will soon enter the norming phase.  Trump has a long time more to sort out these mis-steps!

Chief, I look forward to the day when you sing kumbayah with the Donald!!

Trump is an attention seeker. He even do things that he believes will give him attention only to find out later on that he misjudged it's effect. For him to be so guarded with his tax returns indicates that the shit in them is so stink that even he isn't fooled by their effect.
