I didn't bother asking them because I assumed they all voted PPP. I was wrong.

These were the strongest PPP supporters I knew and they deliberately voted for a PNC Presidency.

Interestingly enough they seem to fit the profile of the 2015 former PPP voter. They are entrepreneurial middle class. Travel freely abroad etc. etc.

I suspect it's the element of international travel that has made them anti-PPP.

There is much more of this than many are willing to accept.  The Caribj's of the PNC would deny it was the Indian swing vote which put the PNC over the top.  They need to beware, this swing is very tenuous and could give them whiplash in 2020 if they don't deliver or try their "old guard" tactics.

Caribj said many times that a small Indo swing vote and a MASSIVE African vote resulted in the coalition victory.

What the basemen, the cobras, the ramas, the nehrus, and the other assorted racists here do is negate the existence of the black and mixed population.

WE HAVE RIGHTS TOO!  Guyana is NOT some province of India where we are reduced to the level of Dalits, contrary to what you might think!

This coalition government leadership is 50% NON AFRICAN, and yet there are people who scream "TOO MUCH BLACK MAN!".

Funny I have NOT heard ONE black person complain that only 50% of the leadership is African, even though maybe 80% of the support was (the largest part of the rest being MIXED)!  They understand that Guyana is a diverse country, and I only wish that people like YOU, Jay and others also did, and stopped reducing Guyana to some Indian province, where only Indians mattered.

Nuff jibrish, regardless of the Afro turn out, the 9,000 Brooklynites who went down and voted, it was the Indian swing (2,400) which put your PNC over the edge.  Face up banna, face up.

The fact is that the Black and Indo middle class will determine Guyanese elections. Both the PNC and the PPP have to adjust to this.

The PNC has to adjust to not talking down to Indians. No lecturing us about how to be Guyanese. Not lecturing us about how to be Indian. And just govern for everyone and leave culture out of Government.

The PPP has to join everyone in F-ing reality. The reality that their shyte is past its expiry date. Its not good enough to gear the party towards Nehru and Ramakant anymore. They are going to have to woo the middle class (especially them Indo middle class) for the first time in its history. They are going to have to stop pretending they can successfully "select" leaders anymore. People are more likely to vote for a leader they had a hand in electing than some selected losers with no appeal.

This is good for everyone. Just like in America, the major parties are only guaranteed 40pc of the national vote. Its all about that 11-20pc. The PNC and the PPP have to learn to adapt to the new situation which is likely to become permanent.

OK so 2,400 people swamp the over 200k African mixed so, so that Indo racist black haters like you can scream that a government, where only 50% of its leadership is African, got "TOO MUCH BLACKMAN".

So if a govt with 50% black leadership is "TOO MUCH BLACK MAN", then what will you all, who scream that blacks must remain enslaved to Indian dominance, be happy with.  Granger as a figure head, like Sam Hinds, and a 60% Indian leadership?

Carib, why don't you petition Granger to rename Guyana to New Guinea?

You talking like a dunda head.  I said 2,400 Indian swing made the difference, the rest is just like the PPP base supporters and made no difference.  The high PNC base turnout was fully mitigated by the high PPP base turn out.  The difference was the traditional PPP voters who went with the coalition, many of whom I know personally.  Get that thru your skull.

OK I guess a government with 50% African leadership is TOO much BLACKMAN, so you think that it is a part of Africa,

So you then think that is "too much BLACKMAN" and so things must remain 100% under Indian control, and to say otherwise is racist.

You must love that movie "The Butler", as that is how you wish negroes to be.
