Moses was the game changer.  If we don't demand that they honor the Accord, the AFC will have limited influence because Granger seems to care largely about his supporters, and not all the Coalition supporters.

I don't agree with your assumption.  Moses didn't bring in any new votes. If there was a recount the PPP might have won.  The PNC did a lick job forcing GECOM to deny the PPP  a recount.  The US wanted a change and people wanted a change, but I don't agree that they should have rigged the election to facilitate that change. They put themselves in the same category as the people they accused of corruption. You are replacing one dictatorship with another.  Anyone who supports the Alliance victory is corrupt.

There should now be a new general election.

The PPP lost and deservedly so.

The petition filed seems to be very, very weak.

Let's see what the courts think about that.

If the PPP think they lost, let them win the LGEs.  I think they can win.

The lack of concerns about diversity and reneging on the Accord gives the PPP lots of speaking points to sow doubt.  Instead of mending the problem, PNC coming up with spurious messages, and AFC playing nicey, nicey not wanting to rock the boat. That seals their fate with people who thought the Accord promises were real as sold to them. As Bush said, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, I won't get fooled again."

What did the AFC give up?

There is no way that the AFC would have ever contributed 40% of the coalition votes, yet they got 40% of the cabinet and just under 40% of the MP seats.

Even when Moses tried to have the MONC he needed APNU to support him, lacking power on his own.  Now if Granger had said, no and continued to demand LGE, where would the AFC be?

APNU saved the AFC from the fate of the UF had they run on their own and ended up with only 7 seats.

It is obvious during the campaign that the AFC lacked the infrastructure, or the boots on the ground to maount effective events.  Ditto on election day when APNU got its base out, and the PPP snatched back some of the votes lost to the AFC in 2011.

So what would the AFC have gotten on their own, and what have they given up?

1.  The PPP reversed their decline which they had suffered in the 2001, 2006 and 2011 elections.  They added 36k voters in 2015.  Why?  They couldn't run on their own record.  Instead they ran on a campaign where Moses was accused of being an Indian traitor, selling Indians out to African savages.  they gained 36 k MORE votes.

Without this the PPP might have ended up with a scant 150k votes, had the trend of declining support continued.

2.  Had there not been record turn out in PNC strongholds the under 20k votes which Moses brought in would not have been enough to offset the anti Moses PPP vote.

So why the screams that Moses was a game changer.  There were many factors responsible for the election results, and you need to stop angering people by disrespecting the roles that they played to ensure coalition victory.

Jay discuss how having NINE non Africans among the top 18 leaders (15 cabinet members and Granger, Trotman, Harmon) is NOT diverse.

Parties usually select from within their ranks.  APNUs ranks are overwhelmingly African, and yet the coalition had leadership where Africans are LESS present than they are within the coalition's support base.

I hope that you aren't claiming that Africans were only 50% of the coalition votes.

So far the only people hurting are the PPP Pigs who doan have such ready access to government cash and largesse. The ordinary coolies are still getting murdered at about the same rate. No real change.
