According to the 2010 Transparency International Report on Corruption, out of 178 Countries, Guyana ranks 116 with a 2.7 rating.The scale is based from 10(highly clean) to 0(highly corrupt).The US Department of State Investment Climate Statement states that in Guyana, corruption is widespread with little evidence of political will to implement legislation passed on procurement or asset declaration. In this report, it also states that the US State Department Human Rights report confirms this view by stating that although the law provides for criminal penalties for official corruption,the government does not implement the law effectively. The report also reports a widespread public perception of serious corruption in the government, including in the law enforcement and the judicial system

Well Tola Minister manickchand has some serious issues with the truth she has definitely stepped into the sphere of telling long tales and untruths and this to me is a sense of desperation in the part of the PPP.

supa is like the rest of people who blindly support the PPP, they are delusional and cannot face reality. But I have hope that the rest of the more reasonable decent law abiding guyanese will not tolerate the crooks who have taken over the PPP and disgraced what once was a great organization.
