one of the things I have learnt in the sever years here is that trust no one, believe no one, always be careful. That is what I am all about.

Good advice...not to trust...However, we are not asking for trust but rationality in judgement. The PPP has not been good for us these past 23 years. Cheddie inherited a transitioning democracy. He did nothing to facilitate the transition but saw to it the fraudulent Burnham's constitution were pruned of parts offending to donor states and kept intact the onerous whole intact so we have ethnic based dictatorships and the farce of elections. Worse, he never even changed the PPP internal Leninist democratic centralism organization where a few decides. Instead we have a bunch of dunces decides who sit in office. These breed corruption. No young ambitious, patriotic and conscientious good human being gets a chance to make his or her mark with these old crows at the helm.

Who selected Jagdeo? The reality is JJ did the switch and passed him on as "leader" and that infernal stench of crookedness was launched on the scene. I would never support him or a party in which he has overwhelming influence. I do hope the APNU and all they portend squats on the office for another decade. Somewhere, lessons need to be learned.

The Guyanese electorate in its ultimate wisdom will decide.  You and the others here who reside abroad will just be the honey pots for the politicians who will definitely come calling for donations.
