Expanding further on the Broward County recount, the 2 minutes delay was caused by a computer glitch. I believe the recount results were due by 3PM and when I awoke that morning, the news was reporting that Broward County finished their recount overnight, hours ahead of the 3PM submission deadline. Why they wait until just before 3PM to submit it was never disclosed as the new news was about the alleged incompetence of the Elections Supervisor. Nevertheless, Broward County did not go on and on about it was not their fault but the computer glitch. They did not insist on a revised deadline nor did they start making one straw clutching delay excuse after another like what the Coalition is shamelessly doing right now in Guyana.
