I have no respect for him. He was not anti caste and moreover he conducted a fake marriage. He gave Prakash G a hard time, claiming that he was not a Brahmin and turned Pundits against him.

Well, what can I say? At a certain level of my consciousness I've lost respect for all brahmins. They use and abuse the lower castes. And, why did brahmins appropriate to themselves monopoly rights to be pandits? If a chamar educates himself in the Hindu scriptures, philosophy, rituals etc why can't he become a pandit? Pointedly, even if Prakash Gossai were not a brahmin why couldn't Reep recognize his panditing abilities?

Gilbakka abhors casteism. I am for egalitarianism and social/religious justice. Time for a socialist revolution in Hinduism.

Gill,

Reep had no problems with my brother [Kasthriya] who became a pandit nor with the Swami, maybe Gossai was more popular suh he doan like him.
