I remember those days. This was a big fund raising day for the mandirs. I recall my parents dressing up and going to the Arya Samaj church near Skeldon post office.
As for Pt. Ramlall, I am not sure if he is still alive. If he is, he must be in his 90s. If I had to guess, he is deceased. He was also a staunch PPP supporter.
